Actually you can tear a dry phone book. You have to bend it in half, then pull it flat out so that the papers rip one by one. I saw it on Beakman's world. Haha.

actualy thear is a little secret to tearing a phone book. if he tryd to do it strait he could not so you bend the pages to make them V up. and you tear at the bottom of the V ripping one page at a time realy fast. a little practace and you can do it to have fun.

Yeah, and with a little practice you can rip even bigger ones. That one was tiny. I started ripping ones that size when I was 7. It's really easy if you bend it. It's really just cheating.
There is an air pocket between the pages so you're really just riping a couple pages at a time.
