Cool video. All the Metrolink crews prior to the transition to Amtrak running them are all still the same so this is likely just a friendly SCAX engineer. Very few crew members will change and switch over.

All metrolink trains are now crerwed by amtrak. So I'd say thats a safe bet.

@ocrailfan No, this was steven's scanner. I was using it because his camcorder died. He was right next to me.

So why is Metrolink using the UTA's Frontrunner car?

@Gregory2126 It was leased to alleviate overcrowding. The car is in regular Metrolink service. There maybe 20 of them leased at this time. They should go back to Utah when the new Hyundai Rotem cars come into regular service in September.
