I am mormon and I believe that we must accept the BOM on faith. The Bible teaches that God's people must live by faith. The BOM stands alone, without any proof except for the discerning which the spirit gives you when you read and pray about the truth. "The testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of revelation." Quote directly from the Bible. Revelation still exists. Even if you don't think WE have it, it does exist somewhere on the Earth. Find the true prophet and follow his teachings.
We have the Bible, full of evidences for it.... And the christians trust and believe it.
You have the BOM and Pearl of GP... none of them have evidences. POGP is not even translated correctly.... Joseph Smiths magic practises may have been influence on those books...
Have you been born again? If you die tonight, would you live with God?
Hilarious joke. That's how Mormon apologetics works. Btw, Decker's being ex'ed doesn't make the Mormon church true. Labeling everyone who says the evidence doesn't back Mormonism's claims as "anti" doesn't make it true either. Anti is Mormons' favorite 4-letter word. They use that silly label as an excuse to refuse to look at the evidence. They only read church propaganda and watch bogus church films about a highly fictionalized Joseph Smith. Truth should have nothing to fear from the facts.
If this Evangelist preacher is like Ed Decker, then he was Excommunicated for committing adultery multiple times, beating his wife, and molesting his children. Those things are grounds for excommunication.
You only have to request in writing that your name be removed from the Church records, tell them you don't want to be a member anymore. It is a simple process but it can take a while (upto 2 months).
EXCOMMUNICATION is reserved only for specifics things. Like what the ANTImormon Evangelist Ed DECKER did.
He wanted to be excommunicated... it was not because he had done anything against the LDS church... sorry.. but you are not the only one that thinks that way - that is common to think by LDS people.. why?
so instead of truthfully answering the question you are going to stick with the "i wanna be" grounds for excommunication? Those grounds don't exist in the LDS church. Nice try.
I think he may have pulled the wool over your eyes. As I have said before "i wanna be" is not grounds for excommunication. So don't join the LDS church thinking you can be EXed only because you want to be EXed. It won't happen.
LOL! this is fantastic lol!!!

If you would not be mormon anymore - what would you have to do to not be a member any longer?

I just check the church hand book and apostasy is grounds for excommunication.

I think he should unbutton one more button. I still want to know how often he highlights his hair??
SOUR GRAPES: maybe if they wouldn't have excommunicated you, you wouldn't be so bitter.

Testskriftene,
common I wasn't born yesterday. This rational might work on the uneducated. However, I will play along with your game.
Tell me Why was the specific reason for his excommunication?
BTW, I "wanna be" excommunicated isn't grounds for being excommunicated no matter what your ANTImormon overlords say.

He was born again, his spirit did not "coop" with LDS church - and he saw himself as a sinner.. He asked to be ex´ed

Testskriftene,
so instead of truthfully answering the question you are going to stick with the "i wanna be" grounds for excommunication? Those grounds don't exist in the LDS church. Nice try.

Read his book... Just send him a mail with name and adress and he wil send it to you for free...
"Those grounds dont exist in the church"? So if I become a member - I cant be ex´ed if I want to?
