I believe they should be strongly discouraged from doing so as in my opinion knowingly bringing a child into malnourishment and extreme poverty is a form of child abuse. I can write pages on why certain people should be barred from having children and why others should be discouraged from having too many children.

The guy is a clown. If you enjoy him, good for you, but I don't have to jump on the bandwagon to please you--i'll say what i choose.

This was before 2006. And he ended up to be right. BTW he was NEVER addicted to drugs, he was a drunkard, big difference.

Actually in 2004-2005 Peter Schiff and others were predicting way more than uneducated beck. Beck was merely parroting what he heard experts say and claiming the info as his own. Hardly a first.

I agree on the license to have babies. presently everybody has to take driving school and get a license in order to drive a car, but when it comes to bringing and raising a child, it seems that nobody needs lessons. well not everybody is suited to raise a kid, not everybody is resbonsibile and mature enough for that matter, and thats why we see kids in the street, dying from hunger and cold

A lot of good can come from better controlling who can have children provided it is very, very responsibly governed. Same with gene therapy. I wouldn't mind having some defects removed from my gene pool so I'm certain the child I bring into the world won't grow up having some debilitating disease that prevents him or her from living a full, happy life.
