He makes some VERY good points - however, I do think that some people are predestaned to be wealthy, successful, etc. Look at Bill Gates. Sure, he built Microsoft with an attractive software product line. But I know of dozens of programmers who write much better (more stable and secure) programs that can't get their ideas off the ground. Look at George W Bush. Sure he graduated from a VERY prestigious school, but he's a complete dumbass who rode his dad's wealth to get to where he is today.
