A beautiful game but unimpressive in gameplay. The God game genre is really a genre the gaming industry hasn't tapped into yet. We don't want an ultra competitive game like Black & White, nor do we want a passive game like this one.

We need something inbetween. With a rival but not "omg-i-must-expand-my-army-lik­e-a-virus!". A little bit of God vs Devil/Tempter would be kind of fun. One enlightens, the other corrupts. With that said, I love god games and wish the best for the developers of this.

this game was disapointing, when i first saw this game I remembered this demo that came with sim city 3000 that I used to play so much (Populous), after playing From Dust for 1 h I couldn't be more disappointed, it's just moving around stuff, water, sand, lava, w/e... like someone said earlier this game is a copy of Populous but without the tribes, the spells, the wars, well.. without the fun, this game sucks...
