r.That contest was great, there were a lot of Puerto Rican surfers not mention there.

The big party came after the contest ,it lasted for about 6 months a lot of hippies couldnt fly back so they stay living at Marias until police broke the crowd.

Reno had a really narrow board/downrail and a kind of wiggle style that got him lots more wave. David N was my choice for the winner. (I was there. 17 yrs old.. Had a blast ! Surf was small all week, but had great swell for the finals
