  • Another AJP great build. Nice job guys and great build! I like how you guys are safe with breaking the motor in etc. Think about a turbo kit for a 1999-2000 honda civic si B16A2. I know that B16A2's are older now and the money is in the newer cars but you are getting amazing results in the newer civics and I would love to see some options for that motor as well. Great build and thanks for sharing!

  • What's the offset of those stock si wheels

  • Got a question what are the offset of those stock wheels

  • BEAST

  • dont waste your time...click at 2:35 to go from 6 to 12 haha

  • nice gay ass music to ruin a bad ass car

  • Awesome power I bet that's a hand full to drive.

  • is this car structure prepared for those 437whp? cause i can clearly see the structural twists at the engine peak power output...looks like a car with an insane power over a....stock civic si chassis. @jacknsally218 true! lol

  • Love the color ;) /watch?v=-7Bog3_eIFY

  • is there a way to get rid of the limiter at 6th gear..because i find it annoying when i beat other cars only to have them beat me at the end because they have 140's on the higway...

  • @dilirent What are you using for tuning?

  • @ajperformancecom ..why?

  • @dilirent boy start by changing your 6th gear.. even if theres no limiter you are never going to get past 132mph or so.. unless going downhill.. then get flashrpo, flashrpo makes magic on these cars

  • @Dani01c yea i know...but annoying limiter tho

  • I absolutely love your videos. I'm working on buying myself a Civic SI. This car itself is beautiful, let alone the sound it makes. Gives me goosebumps when you guys shift this baby. :3

  • alt + f4 to shut the music off

  • At what hp do you have to build the motor on these cars? What turbo do you use on this kit?

  • @cmiller8006 Over 500 whp is when you build the motor. We use the Precision Turbo 6262s.

  • @ajperformancecom Nice. What about tranny? And have you guys ever done any drag racing with any of the higher hp cars?

  • @cmiller8006 Stock tranny. But we have found that they break in the higher horsepower cars, so we're getting gears.

Our shop car was in the mid-600s when it ran 10.97 in the quarter-mile. We're going to turn up the hp once we get a better tranny.

  • @ajperformancecom lol your not running 500hp on a stock block

  • question!!! i want a all motor si.. headers.intake.catback maybe pulleys and cams. and i have an aem f-ic fuel/ignition. can i tune my car with that or i need a hondata k pro??? thank you

  • @YERIEL4LIFE If your Si is 2006+, then you should use Hondata's FlashPro, otherwise, K-Pro.

  • How is the torque steer with that kind of power to the wheels?

  • At 1:09, it looks like the guy at the window is stalking him x)

    Nice car though.

  • just like any honda, its freakin quiet as hell lol, but kudos for the amount of horsepower is makes.

  • 300 ft-lbs of torque & 2900 lbs = what mid 13's

honda needs to go back to compact cars

a 3000 lb civic is screwed from day 1

  • @skywarp187 One of our customer has demonstrated mid-12s - in his sedan on street tires. Who's getting screwed?

  • daily driver?

  • @xxnissansilviaxx Daily driver that gets beat on daily.

  • Nice work AJP. You're the only company I would go turbo through. I haven't heard of any reliability issues yet from people with your kit.

  • how long did it tack yall to write a tune for that

  • @cuntpunch32 Not very long. FlashPro makes it very simple.

  • DeSmetownescbc, fyi FWD is not a problem, it depends on application. FWD can outperform RWD AWD and vice versa, you ever watch the GM race team build a chevy cobalt which is FWD, it smokes a nissan skyline which is RWD on a race track, its all application, doesnt mean FWD is inferior in any aspect. now if you want to build a fast drag race car, then RWD would be a better for application.

  • Thank you for one of the saner comments.

  • @ xoaznpr1d3ox and at the end of the day you are still a hater

  • i bet u that at the end of the day u still dont have a car.

  • @xoaznpr1d3ox and thats the best thing .

  • at the end of the day your still a faggot.

  • at the end of the day that honda will still whoop anything you will ever own.

  • yea a hond with 437 whp.. wat car do u drive

  • yeah, but its a nice honda thats fast as shit. only problem is its FWD

  • how reliable is your systems? on low boost 10-12 pounds what the guesstimating life-span of that set-up?

  • Two of our early customers have over 50,000 and 60,000 miles on their kits.

The lifespan depends on how often you boost and whether you start from a dig or a roll. Rolling starts are always easier on the car.

You need to change your oil and spark plugs regularly.

  • this is the kinda honda i like, all stock looks but all upgraded where it counts...UNDER THE HOOD. good job guys, and way to not rice this car up with body kits and lambo doors.

  • We only install turbo kits and build motors. We don't install body kits, lambo doors and other exterior stuff.

  • oh ok my bad, well you guys build some pretty nice engines!

  • btw... his honda has the HFP Body Kit. So yeah, what's that with not ricing up the car?

Either way, it's a legit and clean car.

  • body kits just aint my thing, if you like them thats perfectly fine, i like mild, mild body kits, but anything other then that just reminds me of the rice and the silly. and yes this car is clean and legit.

  • I know what you mean, cars with those body kits that stand out for miles... is just oh gawd!!!

  • hey what you got for 06 honda civic R18

  • We're still working on the tuning for our R18 kit.

  • i have r18 in moscow, it will be interesting what u can do=)

well, in Moscow is too small tuning for r18...

ill glad to see what u can do....

  • hey, i got stock fa5 , i want to do work but kno where 2 start.. i got sri and 4 puck clutch with 8lb flywheel also an exhaust.. any info please?

  • Please visit our website at ajperformance. com and fill out the information form with your details.

  • Ron on YouTube? lol

The AJP turbo kit is legit fellas along with great customer service

  • i tried to contact you filling that form but it didn't work for me, i have a '09 Civic Si and i need info on your turbo kit, contact me back if you can or better yet send me your email

    Thanks

  • Contact us at sales@ajperformance. com. If you could include what didn't work about the phone, that would be helpful.

  • Well, i sent you an email and nothing, so i'll ask here, does the '09 Civic Si kit comes complete even with the tune so you can bolt it in and go? we want a 100% bolt on kit, i'll appreciate if you can send me prices too

  • what compression pistons did you go with?

  • We don't change the compression or the pistons with a stock motor.

  • U completely mis-understood my question. I undrstand you wouldn't have changed the compression of a stock motor hence the word "stock". I was referring to your built motor as the title of this video is "AJP Turbo 437 whp with built motor"

  • i was thinking about getting a evo x soon, but now idk if i should just get my SI turboed by ajp. i love the dyno vids i see. all i want is a fast dd.

  • Clean civic.

  • got any kits for D17a2 SOHC VTEC?

  • Sorry, we only deal with the 2006+ Honda Civic and Civic Si.

  • Let's say I had an 8th gen and wanted like 350FWHP, how much would a kit to achieve that cost?

  • Please fill out the form at:

    ajperformance. com/turbo/honda-civic-si/#Contact_Form

to get a summary of prices and parts.

  • i have a skyline, 70 chevelle, and a 09 dodge challenger that need a lil help can u do it

  • Sorry, we only deal with the 2006+ Honda Civic Si.

  • HOLLYY FUCK MEEE SHIT NICE WORKK

  • 437 whp and 300 lb-ft of torque....MY GOD....great work!!!

  • Thanks. He is now at 610 whp and 414 ft-lbs. of torque.

  • proof?

  • We shot video of the dyno session last week where he was at 646 whp/501 ft.-lbs of tq. and are waiting for a chance to get road video. Lately, however, it's been very wet every day.

  • lot of tq there. interested to see results

  • how much psi? meth?

  • is that 3'' Piping?? and let me ask you whts better 2.5'' piping or 3'' piping for exhaust.

  • Our exhaust is a full 3" exhaust.

With forced induction, especially high forced induction, it's generally better to have bigger piping to lessen the back pressure.

Your motor still needs a certain amount of back pressure, but a turbo kit of our size will generate enough pressure such that a 3" pipe will perform better than a 2.5".

  • are you seriously telling people that a motor needs back pressure?? lol....

  • why did it show only up to 7100rpm? why not take it to rev limit ?

  • cause thats where it gets max torque

  • Where the dyno measures max power and max torque varies. There is also a human factor involved with capturing the snapshot as well, so there is a bit of variance.

  • is there any other cars that you guys are thinking of doing a turbo setup for?

  • or are you just stickin with the SI?

  • Our Si kit is the only one in production. Our R18 kit should be in production this summer, 2009.

  • We're developing a kit for the R18 motor.

  • that sounded so sexy lol

  • It sounds best when you're in the driver's seat...

  • god that is sick. glad theres a company out there that specializes in creating high hp for this generation of civic. Even though my pockets arent deep enough right now but do yall sell a turbo package that is good for daily driving and reliability?

  • Thanks. Our turbo kit is celebrating its third year of sales now, running strong and reliably.

Our standard package is fine for daily driving. You get 376 whp at 8.5 psi.

Our poster boy for engine longevity, Robert, has over 40,000 miles on his Si.

Check out our website at ajperformance . com for more details.

  • Ah, I meant for the Honda Civic Si, which is our bread and butter. We have not really done much with Acuras.

In principle, it should be the same, but if the K-Pro is for 2004-06 TSX and the Civic Si is the same for 2006-2009, then I wonder what the differences are between the 2006 TSX and the 2006 Civic Si that Hondata could not put out a K-Pro for the Si?

  • Not yet.

K-Pro is not out for the K-Series.

  • Oscar is now practicing on the track. He's going to show the world what his K-Series is all about.

  • crap what a crazy sound droool :L......

  • looks clean (maybe the engine would had looked good with the i-vtec engine cover...

  • congratulations brow, perfect ride! :D

  • Oscar is well over 600 whp now. He has a few more things to do before getting to the track and that should be in the next month or so.

  • @ajperformancecom is ur shop located anywere else besides florida

  • @ditimedia93 No but we have shops in various states that have done installations of our kits and can install the kit for you.

  • @ajperformancecom this turbo kit is alright for a daily driving car and what places in ny if u no have this kit

  • @ditimedia93 We have lots of customers who use our kit in their daily drivers. Contact Ralph or Maco at Drag Racing Technologies (drtracing. com) in Woodside, Queens. Their AJP turbo kit customer was so happy, he came back to build the motor.

  • @ajperformancecom nd one more question the car i have is an auto i no "gay" but w.e will it still work fine or will thier be a lot of lag ?

  • @ditimedia93 Are you referring to the Honda Civic R18? There is no automatic transmission Honda Civic Si.

  • @ajperformancecom no like a civic ex or lx model

  • @ditimedia93 If you have the Civic EX or LX, that is the R18, or 1.8-liter engine.

  • @ajperformancecom the turbo wud work fine on those

  • @ditimedia93 If you have the Civic EX/LX, then the Si kit would not fit. You would get our R18 turbo kit.

Visit our website and fill in the contact form for more details.

  • what all have you put in to the car? i have the same car and dont know much about it...let me know though

  • You can see what our kit is by going to our website.

How much we install depends on how much horsepower you want.

Contact us at sales (at) ajperformance (dot) com.

  • Oh shit is that Doc?

  • Yes, the one and only.

  • what did u guys do about the drive by-wire??

  • Since we have a Hondata reflash for our kit, we didn't have to do anything about it.

  • what about the clutch and cv joints, do they need to be upgraded

  • We recommend you get the Competition Stage 4 Clutch Disk (only) and the Honda OEM pressure plate.

The CV joints do not need to be upgraded.

  • wats the torque numbers??

  • At 4min 36sec, you can see 436.8 hp and 298.7 ft-lbs of torque.

  • ohh boo low torque, i was hoping to see matching numbers and be impressed!

  • The torque is plenty fine for a small front-wheel drive car. There is no need to go higher in torque.

  • agreed, my tc has 290 torque, burns first two gears, its useless power. I was just surprised seeing over 400 hp

  • This car will go to the track soon as soon as he gets good slicks. We'll see if he needs more torque.

  • hey, Im finally ready and considering your turbo. i have a stock 07 si coupe. what would be the total cost plus additions (anything besides the kit) i would need to spend to finnally get my baby runnin a turbo?

  • Please contact me at sales (at) ajperformance (dot) com.

The basic bundle is the kit, fuel return kit and Hondata reflash.

Optional, but good to have is our 3" exhaust.

Finally, we recommend the Competition Stage 4 clutch disk (disk only) plus the Honda OEM pressure plate.

  • price estimation for labor/parts anyone?

  • Check out our website at ajperformance (dot) com (slash) turbo. There is also an FAQ.

  • i want to know how this kit holds up over time...when i turbo i want to know im making the right decision :)

  • I'll be posting a video of one of our earliest customers, Robert, who has over 36,000 miles on his kit and over 48,000 miles on his 06 Si.

He changes the oil and spark plugs regularly, and that is the key to maintenance.

  • what r u using to tune PLEASE let me know

  • We use a Hondata reflash created specifically for our turbo kit. On top of that is the AEM Fuel/Ignition Controller.

  • so i have an 08 civic si and its stock right now. I am going to buy a skunk2 catback exhaust, a high flow cat converter and a cool air intake. I want to get turbo but i have no idea what to get and which one will gave me the most horsepower. I see you said this one gives you 437whp. This may be an ignorant question, but will the turbo give that much more horsepower to my 197hp stock car?

  • The first thing you have to decide is your budget. Different kits are in different price ranges.

The second thing is to decide what your goals are: do you want a mild boost or aggressive power?

Once you decide those two things, your choices will be pretty clear.

Your stock motor cannot handle 437 whp. The safest would be about 400 whp and our kit will give you that power.

  • damn i want this on my 06 si coupe.

  • Was that a front strut tower bar I saw??? PLEEEEAASE tell me where to find one of those!!

  • na man i dont have any strut bars, unless it came wit an 08. i haven't added none i want to tho. so if u find any let me know

  • hey were do u get the internals for

the civic cuz im lookin at boosting

mine also cant find any online any

    one knw were??

  • Your best bet is to locate a local performance shop that you trust. This is an investment that requires someone who is knowledgeable and that you can stop by if you have problems with your car.

Performance is a tricky thing and a lot of people get in over their heads and wind up damaging their motors.

A shop will work with you and your budget to get the best configuration for your setup and goals.

  • well no i mean i am actually a mechanic myself and i rebuild engines quit often i was just wondering were i get forged internals for the civic si so i can push the boost ive already purchased a aem ems so i dont need to go threw the trouble of a re-flash alot of ppl said it was prob the worst mod they had on there vehicle so i went with that and so far it works magical all i need now is forged internals
  • sweet car man....question...with all that power, were you able to take the speed limiter off? are u still limted at 6000rpms's in 6th gear?? or the fuel management took care of that?

  • Fuel management took care of that.

  • really? cool....but what fuel management? so basicly now you can top speed the car without that anoying hikup? thanks for the reply!

  • how much hp/torque was the 14 lb boost?

  • At 4min 36sec, you can see 436.8 hp and 298.7 ft-lbs of torque.

  • What is the clattering/clacking when you let off the throttle after the run? (clutch or gears?)Is that normal?

  • thats the clamps on the dyno that r not being used!

  • Correct! I wished we had silenced them at the start of the session with a rag.

  • are you guys located in NJ, any where near Newark.

  • i got a question.. i have the money for the turbo kit about 4500 bucks..well Credit card but how long do you guys expect to start and finish the kit install??

  • Once you pay the 50% deposit, it takes about 4 weeks to assemble the kit. Once the kit is finished and you pay off your balance, you bring your car in and we install the kit in 3 days.

  • ajperformancecom: ARE U GUY GANNA BUILD A KIT FOR THE TYPE R SEDAN COMING TO THE STATES IN 2010?

  • whered u hear that

  • Is it a must that the wastegate dumps to atmosphere ? that would get on my nerves after a while.

  • ajperformancecom: WILL THIS KIT FIT IN A RSX TYPE S? I NEED TO KNOW.

  • I'm pretty sure it will except maybe the downpipe. Might need a custom one. And the reflash probably wont work. You can just tune with the AEM FI/C.

  • Sorry, it won't because the turbo manifold is different.

  • How so? I know its a lower mounting manifold, but the bolts should line up.

  • Now get that beast off the dyno and on the road. I wanna see it move.

  • Slow break-in process. Will be several weeks before we turn the boost up.

  • u west indian ? notice the accent

  • You heard Ron, who is from Trinidad.

  • lol, the whole time i was watching the video, i was like: "is this guy trini?" soon as i heard the accent at the end, it was confirmed.

  • hey i got a question...will ajp turbo kit fit in a 99-2000 civic hatch with a k20z3? .....oh and do u also specialize inthe k20R

  • We don't know - we've never tried. It's not so much the motor but the engine bay that we're not so sure about.

We specialize in k-series motors, so the k20R would be a part of that.

  • did u do ported heads?

  • We polished the intake manifold.

  • this is wat im talking about, throw in some good rods/pistons and go to town with that turbo. nothing will beat that thing

  • With the AEM Fuel/Ignition Controller, a fully-built motor is the only way to go.

  • wow wish my si was like that =D

  • When you're ready for turbo, be sure to check us out.

  • if i want this exact same setup, how much would it be with you guys?

  • Please give us a call at 954-636-7992. There are many different variables that go into this setup that we need to review with you and see which way you want to go.

Along with a built motor, you'll need to upgrade your clutch and get a minimum of 18" tires.

For the work involved, this is a long project that really can't be addressed in this tiny space.

The payoff in the end is that you should be in the 700-hp range.

  • add &fmt=18 to the URL to get High Quality

  • Thanks for the tip. I uploaded a high-quality video for that very purpose.

  • AMAZING!!!! keep the videos coming! i look forward for more!! great job!

  • Thanks. There will be another video of this car when it returns for more boost.
