katatonia is such an epic band and I love them to death but...I don't think Jonas is the right vocalist for them. Don't get me wrong he's a great singer but somehow his vocals doesn't suit the band, They need a singer with a deeper voice like Makko from Swallow the Sun or Stainthorpe from My Dying Bride. Anyways that's only my opinion and i love this band regardless.

@brianhoorn Jonas is a very talented singer! If you've listened to old Katatonia you'd know that he can do two types of vocals. I prefer this transition much more though. :) I don't find the vocals weak, I find his voice unique and beautiful.

yeah, it's a pity. I saw katatonia live on summer breeze 2009: Awesome Gig. But they only played "clean" songs - the newer stuff. The last song was "Murder" and only there he growled, but not as in old days, because he can't anymore. (I'm wondering: Why didn't Mikael Akerfeldt do the growls. He was on sunmerbreeze,too??)
