why do they sentimentally bury Jason in the lake? Surely, the sensible thing to do is saw Jason's head off and hide it up a tree. I think maybe the daft teens got that stockholm syndrome where they overidentified with the killer.... A better ending would have been to see Jason in group therapy (in a max security prison natch). It would be refreshing to see the big guy really starting to make progress and open up about his unresolved feelings of anger. PS this film was shit

Everybody knew this jump scare was coming, so I can't believe anybody was legitimately startled by this. The remake wasn't bad per se, it was just very bland and unoriginal. They had so much material to be creative with and what we got was boring characters, un-creative deaths, and an overall blah feeling after it was over.

This is what I hate about both Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm street. If you've seen at least.... two or three, you know how the rest go down. You don't even need to see this, cause it's the same damn thing over and over, and surprise surprise, they're not dead. I mean, I find these characters fasinating the way they died and what motivates them to kill, but over all, there's nothing new to add, unless they make a FINAL F13 or N.O.E.S and make them go out with a bang!

The reason we watch the whole series is simply for this: entertainment. We like to see more death scenes. We like to see more tits. We like to jump back in our seats when something unexpected happens.

We don't walk in expecting a movie that has Citizen Kane or Shawshank Redemption quality, we just want to have fun.
