@doctorxring the Leek also was my edc, but oromoto changed today when I saw this video. my one disappointment with the leek is the plastic spacer between scales. It doesn't seem to balance the scales correctly. I've weakened the lock bar and loosened the scales with a T6. For three years I've carried a smooth opening, but oddly loose and rattly leek :)
@oromoto Got this knife in the mail today after watching your vid. it's an excellent peace of craftsmanship. The detail on the ti is really nice and the weight is not there. A top quality gent's knife. Thanks for the review.
The Leek, also a brilliant Ken Onion knife, has been my EDC for a number of years. I just found out about this knife and ordered it immediately. Thanks for the look see !
@Krepo11 I would go with Eros any day, because they are both gentleman's knife and I think Eros is a much better built knife. Better materials too. The titanium handle makes it so light which is what a gentleman's knife should be.
PS: th tip is verry scharp, so it makes a great defence weapon if needed, but its a great tool for opening things, but as i said before place it in the hand palm if needed sideways/horizontal, and you have your fist free, but whit a smal movement you can cut slach and hack away whit it, it aint deep, but it wil make a aorto cut open.
Then again, if you can run run, and only carry a knife if you cant avoid not to carry one outside the house
thnx for the video, i just orderd one, watching your reviuew and some outher, but your i like the most. Its a realy verry nice knife by the looks of it, wil make a great knife for me collection
@oromoto that Knife is small but verry nice, and scharp it came in shaprper than my Mcusta Yori, and thats no blunt blade either.
i love about this knive is the desing, i dont use it verry much, but for opening letters its great, you can cut rope whit it verry easely.
its a Ken oinion, it lays perfeckt in the hand palm, if needed you can punch, whit the knive in the site of the palm, and make slach and hack movements, and noboddy wil no what hit them.
This looks like a jewel! I love KO´s design so much. My only complain would be about size. If only there was a 3,5 or 4 inch blade version, that would be my holy grail. But I´m considering buying one anyway.
@oromoto Regular Ripple is 3,125 inch ;-). But I like look of the Eros better too. In addition beautifully machined titanium frame of Eros is ticket to another level. Ripple is OK, but Eros is awesome.
Great review, and wonderful looking knife. Other than the pocket clip, I loved the Ripple 2 I purchased and in many ways this one looks like an improved version. I also just noticed that they sell a tiny 2 inch version of this Eros knife... I think that is a MUST HAVE for me!! Sounds a great tiny "gentleman's pocket knife" option, which is my current obsession and buying frenzy.
@FrenziedCalm lol... trust me man this one goes beyond Ripple. Waaaay beyond. This is the kind of knife that makes you carry 3 knives on you. Because you won't feel a thing.
It is hard to believe that this knife is made in Taiwan, I have had good luck with Chinese production but hit and miss with Taiwan, but this blade looks spectacular.
@pwrmek Well, I do had few Taiwan made knives that are outstanding (sage 2), it's mostly how well the QC is. This particular one has excellent built quality. No complaints absolutely. Just FYI, the custom Eros by Ken Onion is like $1000...if you can find one.
I saw this one but I decided to pass it up because it was a bit small for my tastes. I really love the clip on this knife though, I think it's a better looking one than the Ripple. Thanks for the first look!
@darkchild57 If you like ripple, you will LOVE this one, this one fixed all the bad things that ripple had, on top of that it's like half the weight of ripple and this one is actually sharp. If you get a chance, you should go to a store and play with it. I can carry the Eros for days without getting tired of it.
@kenthenoob Hey! the clip isn't traditional, but fits really nice in the pocket. Grabs well, and doesn't have a big stick showing, very concealable. I highly recommend it bro.
I got an Eros2 as a secondary EDC. It works great in that role. Hurry up and get it.

Thanks very much for your reply. I checked at GPKnives and they are out of stock. After a little searching I found it at osograndeknives for $113.00.
Great review and thanks again for your help in locating a knife to buy.

Thanks for the review, that some real nice eye candy right there. :D
How would you compare the ergos to the Ripple?
I heard the Ripple has some sharp corners and such, how is the Eros in that respect?

@johhnyjak I think Ripple by CRKT is 3.5 inch. But I like this one much better. It's much lighter and the shape is very useful for light works.
