It`s funny,,I saw that sign in your video North Salem,Croton Falls,,etc.. I am always in that area,,I fish the reservoirs up there. I have a boat on Titicus, Crossriver and Kensico..we may cross paths one day.
Gus,,when you were in that ground blind,you said you hope that when the wind dies,the deer start moving.. Are you saying that you feel deer don`t move,or move alot less when it`s windy?
@NasalObstruction I think so. Deer movement seems restricted in the wind. I think it takes away their sense of smell and makes them uneasy. The night before I hunted there was a wind storm, and nothing was moving. I always try to hunt before or after weather front.

@NasalObstruction I'm not sure the actual mph, but when the wind is more than what is normal for where you are hunting it's windy. In Wyoming it is not unusual for the wind to be blowing 30 mph. In N.Y. where I live that is a wind storm.

i hunt in ulster county in new paltz otherwise i live in white plains my buddy gets nice deer in bedford

@BBrothersOutdoors I use a Cannon XHA1 S camera, And a Hunter- Cam custom arm. Lone Wolf also makes a great arm. Light weight and durable.
