MaSu uses synth in their songs with integrated SID-module, giving them that cool uniqe C64 sound in their songs. One of t he resason MaSu are unlike all other metal bands out there.

it is their style! it's a good song, and just because it's slightly different from what was before, it doesn't mean it isn't their style. some people just don't realize what truly makes MaSu unique, and truly awesome. they don't copy off what others do. they don't do the same boring crap over and over again. every song is completely different. unlike most bands, where their songs sound alike, and thier talent seems diminished. MaSu is truly one of the greatest bands!

Well sure Sid's voice is quite unique. I quite enjoy it in some of their songs too but i really think it fails quite often too.. I'm speakin as a huge Machinae Supremacy fan though so dont hate me for this :/ I just think that what really makes this band is the guitar and other instruments. I actually like their instrumental tracks better than their normal tracks, sadly. Hero is a kickass song though

I love MaSu, above all else. can't say that the vocals are the best about the band, He sings awesomely in songs like Hero, and Ghost beneath the surface, but in Rise ( and many others) he sounds like and elephant farting...

No I would not say he sounds like a farting elephants, but he squeals a bit rather. I think it's in favour of matching the SiD-metal style(they made up their own genre) that he sings that way. Imagine if he was screaming or growling... That'd be worse.

If you change vocals on MaSu and if you remove the SID-synth, it would sound like any other band. The vocals and SID-synts is the reason MaSu are uniqe, wich makes it just even more awesome.
