I'm impressed even for 1 GB of ram, and a pretty stale graphics card, it could run it without any stress, my guess is it's probably your CPU, could be a dual core, or a performance config, either way, cheers for you man.

Hah, I used to play it on the same detail and with a system of:

Nvidia 6200 agp, 2.8Ghz single core processor and 1,5 Gb RAM, the game ran pretty smoothly, but had that lighting byg as well, so I stopped playing it.

dude its not that hard to fix the lighting just go to nivida's website and click on scan my computer and update your driver works like a charm every time.

Minimum req for processor is 3.0 Ghz, so yeah i suppose it would lag like hell :D

I play Orange Box multiplayer games with FPS config and most of the time I have a good FPS, except when there are many people on server.

Well, that's bad because Vista requires more ram (because of DX10) But just experiment with the Video Settings ;)

@llMacell 6100? isn't that integrated graphics? A 6200 is a graphics card so it uses its own memory and not the systems memory. Thats why the 6100 doesn't run this game very well.

i have nvidia geoforce 6100. it runs the game like shit. but only because there are so many zombies.

so i tested this theory...

I started up Survival mode. It ran perfectly at the beginning, smooth as hell. But only because there were no infected, until you pressed the button to alert the horde.

and right when they all start poring in. My pc lags like crazy and the game freezes up. ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS?
