Antonina Vasilievna Nezhdanova (Russian: Антонина Васильевна Нежданова, 16 June [O.S. 4 June] 1873 – 26 June 1950) was a Russian lyric-coloratura soprano. An outstanding opera singer, she represented the Russian vocal school at its best.

Leonid Vitalyevich Sobinov (Russian: Леони́д Вита́льевич Со́бинов, June 7 [OS May 26] 1872, Yaroslavl – October 14, 1934, Riga) was an acclaimed Imperial Russian operatic tenor. His fame continued unabated into the Soviet era, and he was made a People's Artist of the RSFSR in 1923. Sobinov's voice was lyrical in size and tone, and it was employed with discerning taste and excellent musicianship.

Demonstrative of the brilliance exemplified by the great Russian Singers who knew that singing is an Art. Chiaroscuro is synonymous to Bel Canto as heard in the superlative singing of Sobinov and Nezhdanova here. There is "no one" in any vocal category today who represents the art which has become "Bellow" Canto.
