  • No child left behind, except if they live in a country besides the united states.

  • "What has happened to the $19.88 cents ?" Well the answer is pretty obvious. Employees of the stores who sell the shirts, shipping and logistics and all THOSE related employees, overhead including leases and rents, utilities and so on. Sure some is profit but he is implying the "evil corporation" is keeping $19.88 in profit, when really its just a function of the fact that US consumers demand very low prices, but paradoxically insist on high wages.

  • Thrift shopper for life.

  • support an equal money system

Equal Money is Equal Life with equal opportunities = actual Choice

  • US Federal minimum wage laws should be extended worldwide for all imports.

  • My daughter won't help me one bit, nor consider moving in together. She is completely brainwashed about the American Dream. I was too, I guess. Now I will be homeless while she gets her nails done. But when she hits 25 or 30, she can join me !! They will get another 16-year-old like they got her.

  • The corporations are not taxed, not regulated and treat the workers like slaves.

It doesn't help those workers. It doesn't help US workers.

American workers lose jobs and have to settle for lower wage jobs.

The only ones who benefit are the owners of the corporations.

  • This should REALLY be a promoted video on youtube

  • THe way to break this wage system is to do like people did before the 20th century. Strike out on your own, start your own business, small independant, moral, self motivated. THese Corporations know we need them for employment and product.

  • @strata1972 Try doing that without CAPITAL.

Try breaking the entry barrier costs without credit, collateral or CAPITAL.

You don't understand how it works.

  • Im never shopping at Gap or any of these other clothing companies ever again! This is absolutely horrible and everyone that lives in the U.S should watch this video.

  • This makes me mad

  • So this was made in 1995, during the Clinton Administration. They talk about "the Republican administration in the US Agency", and I can only assume they were influenced by the actions of one George H.W. Bush, since he was the most recent Conservative leader at the time. I wonder if this could all just be pinned on George H.W. Bush, and that would explain his son's woefully poor economic effects years later!

  • Redistribution of the fruits of one's labor...capitalist style!

  • I can see Viterra (Regina, Sask) formerly Sask Wheat Pool going this route. The CEO would love to have a sweat shop set up here.

Currently the employees are on strike. Power to the working class!

  • Employers will always pay just enough that the "wage slave" shows up on time every day to do the allotted work. (It actually works exactly the same in richer countries, just a higher wage is negotiated) It Sucks!!!

  • Everyone needs to see this. Tell your friends, your family and the people you work with. Watch it.

  • Isn´t that typical, the workers even have to give money to the companies for food...

  • I want to see the full version.

  • Thanks,a lot of labels are gonna be boycotted,I hope.....

  • I agree to what WWAHP has to say..

  • The Directors/Chiefs of Gap and Co should be tried Internationally for Slavery and have their Behind in the slammer for a few years. On top they should be made to donate their Fat Cat Multi Million Dollar salaries to the enslaved workers.

  • I keep hearing that The Gap is going to DESTROY all the clothing made by those children in their East Indian sweat shops. THEY SHOULD GIVE THAT CLOTHING AWAY TO ALL THOSE KIDS AND THEIR FAMILIES!!! When food is harvested by underpaid workers, or slaves, or child laborers, would they destroy the FOOD??? Everyone, please email The Gap and tell them to GIVE that clothing to those children and their families.

  • What happens when a company is exposed for child labour and as a result they stop. The need for the income does not , I believe on going support should be given th these children by these companies as a penalty for this abuse of human rights and slavery.

  • sick sick sick.

  • All you have to do is not support the big companies by

buying their products. When they start losing money, they'll get the message.

  • yo thanks for the clip
