I think I found an error in your browser.I downloaded the browser from your link and then tried to change the homepage in it but instead of taking me to the page I set as homepage it took me to bing.com so I think you should work on that code and good luck with it.
@coms758 I actually made a new one last October that is A LOT better that this one, and has the ol website in the text box, but unfortunately encountered some problems when running on different computers and haven't had time to sort it out yet. But I will one day! :P
@computersmangreece Hey thanks for your opinion! The chat for is made using the C4F developers kit for visual studio. Just google it to find the website. It is basically drag and drop chat modules, there are plenty of you-tube tutorials to help you on this :D And the full screen mode was made by setting the form windowstate to maximised. E.g on a button click, me.windowstate = maximized. Hope that helped!

@marleau Add a new form, through project in the menu bar, add, then form. Then on the button on form one, just put "form2.show". Easy as that. There's tones of tutorials for the media player part on youtube :D
@BlehMcRawr To open the browser on its own it will be saved in the bin file of your application folder. But to modify it the only way is to open visual basic :/

@artemishunt0 I haven't experienced that problem before. And I've used the browser a lot! Maybe there's a problem with your internet explorer seeing as my browser uses that as the foundation? I'm not sure. Has the problem happened a lot? Or just the once?

@Legit360Hacks I used Webbrowser, I have never heard of Geckobrowser until I just googled it now. Looks like it may be an improvement on the webbrowser component, I'll give it a try and see if it has any improvements. Thanks!
@gfkkv Tis easy, select your button and in the properties look for "Image" Click that then go to local resource and import, find your picture, then there's the option to stretch to fit somewhere in the properties but I cant remember off the top of my head :)

But if you mean that series of forms that setup the program for you. They're just normal forms, then the main form is coded to only open the welcome boxes on the first run. :D

i made a web browser. it has tabs,music player that is built into a toolbar and you can choose to hide it or open it in a new window.and you may change the colors. and it has shortcut keys for everything. plus controls in the menu bar.
@winsoft211 Ooo sorry, I reformatted my hard drive so I lost all my programs, but i used a separate program to put all the files created by visual basic into one .exe file. You could try using a program called Caphyon installer though, it looks like it will do the job

I just want to know how to make that setup screen (you know, homepage, back color...). I'm working on my own browser, so i want to add that setup screen.
Well the homapge part is just a textbox and a button, when the buttons pressed the application saves whats in the textbox via the "settings", and the webbrowser just loads it, webbrowser1.navigate (my.settings.homepage) , you need to know how to save things when the application closes, so if you cant do that yet, search google for visual basic saving settings, very useful

im makin a tabbed browser in vb 2008 and when i try to add like search options and when i try to add the code to the search buttons it says tabcontrol1 is not valid with navigate or something like that so if you could give me the codes you used it would really help me thanks!

I like your webbrowser! It's not as slow as Internet Explorer but there is a mistake though, when you close all tabs you'll get an error. But still i find it very good

i ve made a web browser beyond yours
ive got history,popup blocker not internet explorers
a parental control with a timer which parents can limit the time of thier chieldren
only the paren can delete the history
and at the end it locks the web browser
so if the child gets on a mature web site they will get caught

Well the homapge part is just a textbox and a button, when the buttons pressed the application saves whats in the textbox via the "settings", and the webbrowser just loads it, webbrowser1.navigate (my.settings.homepage) , you need to know how to save things when the application closes, so if you cant do that yet, search google for visual basic saving settings, very useful
