sorry TFL cars, but i have to give you a bad rating. i understand this wasnt really supposed to be a side by side comparison, but this video was actually quite lame. the acting( i say acting because it was obvious everything you guys said was pre thought out, which is fine, but you guys did horrible) was terrible, and the video had no point, no rhyme or reason, nothing that could help anyone in life...nothing that could help anyone choose a car, nothing useful at all. quite disappointed by it

Somewhat interesting, but it would have been helpful to give clues to ride quality and such, the Acadia, Traverse, Buick is a crossover, it should have beat a body on frame truck in this test

@Ejroy09 well i work at a gmc buck dealer and the acadia and enclave(Buick) are totally different, the acaida is really good and light on its feet for a huge crossover, the interior is ABIT cheap but it has really good seats and nice features, the buck is much softer, quieter but picks up really well, the interior quality is really high and it has a wisper quiet ride but is about 5 to 10 grand more then the acaida, IMO they are both better then an explorer or durango

god everybody needs to chill, it clearly states in the title a mashed-up-match-up its not supposed to be a typical comparison, i think it gives a good outlook on what cars from slightly different segments that could be appealing to the same buyers do when put against each other in a competition. what if you were just looking for a semi-capable off-road vehicle to get to bike trails and now you know you don't need a monster with a v-8 to do so that a smaller more efficient cross-over will do...

Enjoyed your Mash up , it does let you know the Acadia can climb better than the Sequoia. You just offer a choice of vehicles , looks like you had fun doing it too. Sequoia would do better off road but it is designed for it. Acadia is just an AWD suv which would get better gas mileage. 95% of people who buy these types of vehicles rarely if ever go off roading. I mean would you want to scratch the paint on a $50 to $60 vehicle ???

The Acadia Denali looks so stupio, the regular front end is way better looking. I'd like to see the Acadia be able to tow 10,000 lbs, oh thats right, it can tow 5200lbs. Can it seat 8 with plently of comfort room? NO!! Id like to see that 3.6 be running 20 years from now. And um, 5.7 is better then 3.6 DI!!!

Acadia is the worst handling vehicle on the road. I know since my friend had one and it was like driving a waterbed. So so unsafe on corners.

It's not a equal test. The Sequoia is a V8 SUV while Acadia is only V6. However, the main difference was that the driver of the Sequoia didn't drive fast. I didn't think that the Sequoia could not drive faster than 35 mph in that test.

Toyota quality will always be superior to anything built by GM. GM has not contributed any new inovation to the auto industry for the past 30 years, all modern technologies used by GM are inventions by other auto makers. eg, direct injection, variable valve timing, stability control, hybrid technology.

@lost1effekt um, will always? last time i checked toyota had huge recalls and if GM had any it was small batches of vehicles and none of them envolved accelorators or brakes. and for the technology, yea GM may not of been first but they were the first to put hybrid tech in an SUV and they beat Toyota with putting out an electric car or EV so beat that Toyota.

@knack0125 there is a huge difference with recall for "potential" issues vs real known issues....toyota has a reputation for long lasting built over years...and GM has a reputation...well built over the years as well....Toyota is still the longest lasting most reliable brand on the market today...those people with "accelorator issues" account for less than .0001 % of all toyota's sold....
