  • R.I.P my favorite comedian :/

  • "I'm coming over and I'm gonna kill Mommy and Daddy, then i'm going to peel off their skin and make a funny hat. After that i'm gonna take out my ding dong and stick it in your BEEEEP"

  • Thomas stories: "Toad Stands By" and "Thomas & the Special Letter"

  • With all due respect, he was pro-choice, so he couldn't have liked kids that much.

  • @RepentantRain

OMG Im am so sick of this religious bullshit and OMG abortion is so awful, give it a break already. If the chick wants the kid she can have it if not then she doesnt who cares, thats less tax that comes out of my paycheck.

  • @RepentantRain 1. I'm not going to site the difference between a kid and a fetus.

    2. This is a video of a kids show hosted by an amazing comedian.

    3. Shut your friggin trap and enjoy the goddamned trains.

  • I used to watch this show when I was little and had no clue who george carlin was. So then I find out who he is watching his comedy acts and then find out I was watching his stuff all along its humerous to me.

  • What are the numbers on Mr. Conductors hat?

  • @MikeD57s

    looks like 33

  • This must be the first time Harry visits the station. It's hard to believe that this must be his last appearance.

  • 8 years later after this was aired, he rants about children on his "You Are All Diseased" and he says "you know what i say, FUCK THE CHILDREN!!!, an this is mr. conducter talking. i know what im talking about!!" i was and still am a huge fan of is. almost got to see him live but i missed out and i regret it too.

  • lol i laugh my ass off seeing carlin as i know him doing this. but yeah, he was a great guy. rip

  • So many memories...every time this show was on it was a great day to be young! R.I.P. George Carlin! YOu brought much happiness to the lives and minds of children all over!

  • It's so great seeing George in STS. I remember when Mr. Conductor changed from Ringo Starr to George Carlin and I was upset (I was about 4 or 5 at the time, and had no idea who George Carlin was). Now being older, and a fan of George, this just makes me feel like a kid. He's just so warm. I think I need to introduce my nephew to Mr. Carlin, then when he gets older, the other Mr. Carlin! :)

  • 1st thing im doing when i die is finding out where George Carlin is and where Cliff Burton is... then we'll do some intense shit.

  • STS was the first time I saw George Carlin.

  • I wonder if they thought of having Ringo Starr in this episode at all

  • I've been reading George Carlin's autobiography. In it, he mentioned that often in airports, parents would point him out to their young kids and say, "That's him, go say hi!" He said the kids were always freaked out, so he'd lean down and tell them that he was Mr. Conductor but he wasn't in uniform that day. ^_^

  • I really really really want this episode on DVD, this one and Queen For A Day. I dont give a shit what kinda bullshit excuse anyone will use to not release it on DVD, but c mon if youre gonna make cash then I suggest you sell the bastards. I would pay $1 million just to have these on DVD. And Im being serious.

  • wait is shcemee schmer's nephew?

  • Yeah he sure enough did want the best for us all, but it still does appear to be an overload of work to fix things. I don't blame him for giving up on this species.

  • George Carlin.... we will all miss you.... so much.

  • Carlin...The Giant Electron bless him...he was a man of many performances!

  • @jayc1300

Yes, that was part of his act. And truly, it was in reference to the overprotective nature of the parents, not to the kids themselves.

  • @jayc1300 yea ok, thats why he narrates all those thomas episodes and plays as the conductor in this show....

  • @jayc1300 Well, do you?

  • I used to watch this all the time when I was a kid, and I had no idea who George Carlin was. Now, going down Youtube's memory lane and already familiar with his comedy, I just found out. Crazy shit.

Awesome anyways, that he acted on this show.

  • My God, is this really the same man who invented "The Seven Words You Cannot Say On Television" It's like two different people. Nice to see a different side of Carlin, he was a true legend.

  • great ep. havent seen it since 1996! and that was the only time i saw it! lol and WOW ol' harry lost weight!

  • R.I.P. Mr. Carlin!!! he made a way better conductor then Ringo freakin Starr...And a way better narrorator if you ask me..

  • @Noxious597345 Both George Carlin and Ringo Starr were equally great Mr. Conductors and Narrators!

  • carlin's finest work

  • watching this show as a kid i had no idea of how much i'd grow to love george carlin

  • ah same here. he's my all time favorite comedian now, but as a kid i knew him as mr. conductor

  • what is this show?

  • Shining Time Station, it was a show that was originally used to supplement Thomas the Tank Engine stories. Among it's alumni are Ringo Starr, Didi Conn, and George Carlin. Thomas and Friends was already established overseas, this was created to help enter the American market by featuring live action characters and a few Thomas episodes during the show. Suffice to say, it was highly successful, as Thomas is still big potatoes in the US to this day.

  • this is better than barney

  • george carlin was in this oh my..

  • he was in almost all shining time station.. mr. conductor.

  • ya its just surprising do you know if this is related somehow to thoma the tank engine or are they the same show? I guess thomas might be a character in shining time station? I used to watch a show with Thomas.

  • So that is it. Scheemer is teaching his 'apprentence' Scheeme how to cheat and keep his legacy of being a con artist and swindler. I'm supprised in one episode (I don't know which one) he and his buddy got pied.

  • I dont have pet peeves, I have major psychotic fucking hatreds!

  • just goes to show that carlin had a light side to him

  • He always had a light side, he only got angrier as the times got angrier.

  • I LOVE THIS!!

  • "YOU'RE NOTHIN' BUT A BUNCH OF RATS WITH DIAPERS ON!!! YA HEAR ME?! YA HEAR ME?!"

LOL! Schemer has the funniest lines!

  • loved the part where Schemer's cart goes loose, lol. nice to see a Shining time station episode in an outdoors scene too

  • Thomas Stories: "Toad Stands By" and "Thomas & The Special Letter"

  • "raised by laughing hyenas." LOL!

  • this show has warm blanket feling

    on me

  • why do you capitalize every word

  • I didnt knew that... thats kinda weird seeing him as mr conductor and also that bad ass comedian he is - although I know it has nothing to do, and people can do that thing, is still kinda weird

  • "You wouldn't know it, from some of the things I've said over the years...

But I like people." - George Carlin

  • When did he say that?

  • His last HBO special, "It's Bad For Ya!".

  • That makes sense. He'd want us to know how he really feels about people.

  • Oh, yeah.

"Don't bullshit people. There's too much bullshit as there is."

  • What are you talking about? I'm not bull shitting anyone.

  • I know.

I was confirming your hunch that George would want us to know how he really feels about people.

George didn't bullshit people to save their feelings.

  • My God! Is that Leonard Jackson back as Harry Cupper?

  • how many years is this ep after the ep SWEET AND SOUR?

  • "We're not supposed to cheat in a race! We're simpley goning to....improve our chances"

    ROFL XD

  • oh wow, i remember watching this episode when i was little....shining time was one of my favorite shows back then. so many good memories....and george is also my favorite comedian. funny how things work out....

  • Many people don't know it but George Carlin liked kids. He always supported a better education for our children and things such as neo-natal care. He had a daughter who he was very close to. He wanted honesty and compassion for one another in society and government. He wasn't just some bitter, old man. He was a speaker of the truth, things this country needed to hear.

  • @Emperorlawson Sure. But had he had a vagina, he'd of been quickly dismissed as some bitter, old dyke.

  • @Emperorlawson

I think he was a cynic who did want things to be better, but did not hesitate to point out societies problems. Yes he cared about people but say how ignorant many people were.

  • @Emperorlawson According to his sorta-audiobiography, he "loves and treasures individuals" but hates when they get generalized into a group.

  • yea i used to watch this too and always knew him as the conductor...nice and all...then i saw him as a comedian a few years ago and couldnt believe he was who he really is.. but hes goddamn funny and speaks truth in his stand ups.

  • It's amazing. I used to watch this when I was REALLY young, and Mr. Conductor was my favourite character. Then I got older, my interest waned, and eventually I forgot about the show altogether. Then, a few years later, who appears on my TV but Mr Conductor himself, George Carlin. Back in Town, it was, and I got to see him in all his raging, foul-mouthed, stand-up glory. Carlin went from being one of my favourite characters to being my favourite comedian, and I didn't even realize it 'til later.

  • He has the perfect voice for little kids...ironic, haha. RIP!

  • you'l be mist george,...

  • why do you think about things like that? do you jack off to Carlin raping stacy? if you say yes and try to be funny then you are gay.If you say no then your not.

  • great job trey, now can we see all of billy's runaway train?

  • I just vaguely remember these episodes - they were aired in prime time, after the "normal" series had wrapped up, I think. I remember one where Schemer was in a barbershop quartet... do you have that one?
