  • I wanna point out that destroying the Nobodies of Organization XIII actually helps them. In KH3Ds you see that destroying someone's nobody and heartless help them return back to normal, thus seeing Lea (axel's somebody) in the 3Ds trailer. So maybe Organization XIII tried to be harmed by the Keyblade so they can become whole again.

  • @unknownwonder123

I was about to type this! :O

You're right, it really does help them because it restores their original selves. When playing KH2 I felt awful for destroying them but, when you think about it, it benefits them an awful lot.

  • where do i go to buy the collections? they're really amazing, i want to own the CDs!

  • This song, and Missing You are the 2 reasons I bought the KH piano collections

book. They are 2 of the most beautifull songs ever.

  • @npthedarkside27 i just bought this book right now!

  • This is amazing. I listen to this while I write and study all the time. It brings back memories of the first game which I STILL love. I always thought the music score for KH was otherworldly. It's so hauntingly dark for a "kids" game. Such a masterpiece. Might need to download this album

  • @Edwardislestat The music of Kingdom Hearts is one of the major reasons for its success.

  • This makes me want to learn how to play the piano. I want to learn this and The 13th Struggle

  • This IS the song of my life...

  • After listening to all the theme music for Kingdom Hearts, I suddenly want to learn to dance, so I can dance for these songs.

  • awesome....

  • does anybody know where i can buy this?

  • @thespleenenator Ah, but you forget that Nobodies have no emotions. They cannot feel 'sadness.' =P

  • @MasterDon08 That isn't necessarily true. Roxas & Axel were capable of feeling emotion. This means that there would probably be more nobodies out there that can feel emotions, such as sadness.

  • @evokunt You have a good point. Roxas was an exceptional case. I read somewhere that he supposedly had a heart from another character. Axel also appeared to have some emotion, but I can't figure why. Come to think of it, Xion is another case that appeared to have emotion. It's quite confusing. I guess I just took the game's word for a given when it mentioned they were emotionless.

  • @MasterDon08 They all feel, "empty" emotions. This was the cause of such feelings of brooding and depression, that they aren't ever feeling real human emotion. If I were to put it into more easily understandable words, I'd say they have emotions with a "synthetic" feel.

  • o_o i thought this song was called "another side another story" o_o lolz my mistake..

  • @princessnamine100 thats the name of the video

  • @aricente no its not o.o

  • @princessnamine100 not this video, im talking about the secret ending in kh1, where roxas fight riku in the skyscraper of epicness

  • Xehanort's heartless/nobody are wierd. They're contradictory, but alike at the same time. "Ansem" wanted power through a lack of a heart, but Xemnas wanted to gain a heart to get power. They want the same thing, but they undo each other!!!!!!

  • i have to got the notes for that :O

  • Eu gosto dessa música. Obrigada :)

  • STOP TALKING ABOUT THE GAME AND LISTEN! TITS!!!!!!!!! D:< (Kamari Learned Rage)

  • Think on the basis of opposing forces seeking a totalitarian rule in ALL video games. The evil masterminds that have come together have all had ulterior motives in the most climaxing points in their lives. Sylvanas from the WoW could care less about Thrall, they only tagged up because, well, they're helpless alone. The wookies and rebels allying to fight the imperial army of Vader's rule. Now, look at Axel, Demyx, Vexen. Very distinct characters in the Organization, very DIFFERENT motives.

  • I love the story that can be captured with this song. It sounds slightly evil yet, misguided just like the group it was composed for. I always felt a bit sad killing or seeing the deaths of the organization because aside from the leader and a few others, they weren't really all that bad. Demyx in particular never really did anybody any harm. I had no regret killing Xaldin though, he was a hard mofo!

  • @streetough I partly agree with your beginning statement, this song does do well to capture the story, but I feel the essence is more centred around emptiness and despair instead of misguided evil, especially at the beginning. At the 2:10 mark it changes more what the nobodies had become in their search for a heart, but more desperate urgency as the organization manipulates Sora to harvest hearts. at the 3:30 mark, we are again shown the empty despair as Sora destroys them

  • @MrNobe37 Well said. I agree with the emptiness feeling that comes from the track as well! That's something I don't think I even recognized until you mentioned it. This track is so perfect for what it was composed for.

  • I think someone should make a midi for every song on this album.

  • @thespleenenator that's what I've been wondering this whole time. Is Organization13 TRULY evil? Some of the members are corrupted, and have hidden motives, that much is true, but they might just be confused. You find yourself with no real emotion, and you have to pretend, using memories you only half-recall as your guide. When someone offers you a way to have a heart once again, of course you would take that chance. You wouldn't want anyone to stop you. What would you do if you lost your heart?

  • @RazberryPineapple Well uh... die, honestly. xD

  • @f17coolplane way to ruin the mood -_-

  • @RazberryPineapple Yeah, I know. Buzzkill. I apologize.

  • @f17coolplane ha ha it's okay. :)

  • I have to say that every Final Fantasy game is better than KH, but KH is still my favorite. Especially the music!

  • I really wish i knew why im addicted to Japanese composers (Nobuo, Hitashi, Yoko) Its just the feeling like your really playing the game in the moment while losing yourself in that thought O_O

  • I feel really bad for the Organization. They just wanted to exist. Just to have a heart. To have feelings. They had no idea.

  • ffff. so beautiful. god if there's a music book for the Kingdom Hearts Piano Collection I want to get it SO badly and learn these pieces. They're just so gorgeous and I am so entirely envious of Shimomura for making these arrangements just so goddamn amazing. <3

  • @EmiieRoxs go to playasia.com and you can get the book new for 30$

  • I love Kingdom hearts. It's such a deep story!

(..Yet..When my sidekicks are a speeh-impaired duck, and a talking dog from Disney well..)

    Still. Soundtrack is kick ass!

  • I want the Organization back! :'(

  • @Azurariolu96 it's coming back, but not for a few years... either on teh 3DS or PS3...

  • my favourite

  • this song makes me cryy D: i loooove it

  • ah, killing Saix.

  • Far out, you have to be the master of scales to pull this song off.

  • @H0tkebab or a piano sage

  • A remarkable piece of deilemas, sadness and quest with that being said i love this piece it shows the different sides of things even if we may not know it :)

  • hahaha. This is the one that plays in the Grey Room in Kingdom Hearts 385/2 Days, when u get ur missions. :D!!!

  • @SNLAnimeable no it isnt. that song is called sacred moon. its completely different.

  • @imbatman1995 I guess my ears must be decieving me (lol)

    thanks for correcting me XD

  • @imbatman1995 The song that you hear when you kill Saix is just a variation of the one you hear Grey Room

  • @Me2Myself3AndI there is no song when you kill saix. theres no music until sora and riku start talking about roxas, then its roxass theme.

  • I love this.

  • @thespleenenator Unfortunately, Kingdom Hearts doesn't explore the moral dilemma properly. We don't really see any of our heroes think twice when the Organization fades away, or consider their plight very thoroughly. Axel managed to redeem himself in the Sora's eyes by making a suicide charge. Killing Demyx never felt particularly heroic to me. I always walk away from KH feeling cheated on behalf of the Organization.

That being said, I've played it 5 times. Love KH to pieces. :)

  • @thespleenenator people just dont talk that way anymore

  • I saw this in a store called Kid's World not too long ago.

  • the ending is epic.

  • @thespleenenator simply amazing description my friend

  • woh, I was not expecting graceful assassin to be in there. I like it.

  • So this is like 13th Anthology? Nice.

  • Although in their point of view, they can't tell whether the things they're doing are good or evil, as per their lack of hearts.

We might find their motivations and justifications for their actions to be sad, but they themselves can't share our sentiments.

  • Wordless..The feeling of...I really can't describe it...That's why it's wordless..

  • really intense after 2 mins

  • .........*weeps*

  • this is my favorite song in the KH series (and maybe favorite video game song) and this is ultimately my favorite arrangement

  • beautiful...just beautiful

  • I love this stuff, I don't care that they made it hard because it sounds so beautiful all technically difficult, I love this type of arrangement, and it's so rewarding to play... this book is really a bit above my ability level, so it's really nice to have a nice big chunky thing to learn...

  • @imbatman1995 Most of the songs sound alike in the game, though. I think it's gorgeous.

  • OK I LIED!!! theres a couple good ones but this isnt one.

  • because you need to listen to the whole thing. it gets good around 3:00 minutes

  • yeah still not really doing it for me.

  • @imbatman1995 yu jst dont know good music then

  • hey just because i dont like the exact same song as you doesnt mean i dont know good music. everyones definition of that is different.

  • are there sheets for all these?

  • Yes, there is a sheet book of it :)

I'll buy it soon, although I cannot play on the piano so well yet...

  • Don't sweat it dude. Just keep practicing and praying about it. =)

  • Yeah, just order it on Ebay. Usually it's $50, including shipping.

  • Maaaannn! I am so ready to get this for Christmas!!! xD xD!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'd really love to hear a piano arrangement of Lord of the Castle

  • This sounds extermely difficult to play. I mean, congrats, Mr. Yamada.

  • the most emotional piece in kh piano collections...

  • once I get my sheet music, I swear I will learn this! It's so pretty!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I'm not sure. I think the book is both.

  • yeah. because u didn't see org. 13 in the game, did u?

  • to TheMysteriousLemon

  • not sure but if you happen to find one...spread the wealth

  • Here is the wealth brother.

  • You could download ATube Catcher and download them straight off YouTube.

  • my favorite kh song EVER!!!! so beautiful!!!

  • It's pretty exciting! Shimomura knows how to write battle themes for the piano like no one else.

  • It's actually Takehiko Yamada who did this arrangement.

  • I'm pretty aware of that. But someone had to compose this music. Thus, I mentioned Yoko Shimomura.

  • Oh, and Takehiko Yamada is not the arranger. The arrangers are Sachiko Miyano and Natsumi Kameoka. Takehiko Yamada, Hiroyuki Nakayama and Miwa Sato are the performers.

  • Thank YOU VERY MUCCCCHHH !!! I'm SOO GLADDDD
