The bass player is Milt Hinton and the drummer is Panama Francis. I don't recognize the piano player.

Ca-razy, man. This dude was so hip, and what a band. His sidemen over the years included Doc Cheatham, Cozy Cole, Milt Hinton, Chu Berry, Dizzy Gillespie, and Jonah Jones.
If this is your introduction to him, there is so much more from his 50 plus years as an entertainer.

cab is great on this, but its trumpeter jonah jones is at his alltime best (this is a textbook on his playing), and i believe this is far better than the columbia 78 with the big band, jivey swings like mad (killer drummer, and milt hinton on bass i believe) and loads of fun, merci beaucoup, yves
