  • nice career choice - fags

  • Did you know that most Canadians desire homosexual sex? The country has gay marriage and lets openly gay people serve in the military. In fact, many young gay men join the CF to find a husband. 30% of males in the Canadian military are married to other males in the military. The Canadian military is known world wide for having the highest percentage of serving gays than any other military in the world. Canadians must be so proud!

  • @MrJJackYT ok think about this in Canada we have 33,311,900 people in the USA you have 307,006,550 people now how many gays do you think you have in your country probably at least 50,000,000 or more and who cares anyways gay or not there still human see its shit like this that you stupid Americans are hated by most of the world just think about it for a sec you have 307,006,550 people in the USA you guys have more gays then us

  • @mdelww1ww2 Do you actually really think that america cares that other country's hate us good, Then maybe you foreigner idiot's would stay in your own country's.

  • @MrJJackYT i hate it too, they not only let them come in, but its required for "equality", canadas army will never be like it was with all this PC crap

  • Also Video is cool i am sad of all the deaths from ww1-ww2-korean war and afghanistan war but they died for a worthy cause peace.

  • reading these comments makes me feel proud to be canadian and how Canadians fought for canada and protected innocent people around the world

  • Canadians burned the white house ( it was pink before) an elite specials fource in 1812 God bless canada every grand parent and great parent of mine faught in ww1-ww2

  • The germans were afraid of the Canadians. We were the only army they truly feared, it was even written in Hitlers memoirs

  • in WW1 we were nicknamed "storm troppers" in WW2 hitler's elite forces used the same name. And as per disturbedKO's comment. A Canadian woman helped dislodge an American attack essentially sending them home with thier tail tucked between their legs. We shouldn't fight about stuff like this. As a team US and Canada are unstopable. Separately, we would fail.

  • @slowmode122 Provide a source for that bullshit claim please.

  • dont really need to be fighting we are all friends and allies why dont we all just get along were all the same

    PCE smoke weed everyday

  • Dont want to get involved in any Canadian - American argument HOWEVER the fact that I am British naturaly means I would have to side with the Canadians.

Its a family thing you know, and though the Americans ARE friends thet aint family

  • bless you mate

  • @Whitbywatc im Canadian and we respect the British truly for there courage in the wars when all odd were gone for the britsh in ww2 they still stayed and fought till the end for there country in Canada we respect the britsh and remeber your solders as strong and full of courage her

  • This is war, and survival is your responsibility

  • during d-day the Canadians punch thru germans lines but they had to stop because the rest of the allies could not keep up and thats when evrything went to hell for the canadians god bless those who have died during ww2

  • Go read about

    Léo Major

this guy from Montréal free a town in holland

And capture around 150 german soldier doing it, and all by himself

He refuse to receive a DCM medals

because according to him General Montgomery (who was giving the award) was "incompetent" and in no position to be giving out medals.

That may explain why this hero of war was obnubilate by the Anglo-Canadian,and British military historian offending this way the Great myth of Montgomery

    What a shame

  • CADPAT - Canadian Forces Developed 1996

    MARPAT - U.S. Marines Developed 2001

    ARPAT - U.S. Army developed 2004 Issued 2005

SpecAm - Special Operations Camouflage developed 2004

SOPAT - Special Operations Pattern developed 2006

KA2 - Jordan Armed Forces Developed October 2003

All thanks to the Canadian Forces (CADPAT)

  • "CADPAT's improved performance in NATO exercises helped smooth the adoption of the related MARPAT for the US Marines and its ARPAT derivative for the US Army"

    CADPAT = CAnadian Disruptive PATtern

    Used by the Canadian Forces

  • Actually DevilDog, Canada made a lot of modern camo. Camo that Canada let the U.S. have and use. That we both have and use. If that is what you are talking about? U.S. and Canada share a lot of a stuff. I'll go research the camo real quick and post the camo Canada made that U.S. borrowed off us.

  • actually the Marines stole the Canadian digital camo. nice try though

  • the marines stole ours, we made it first

  • oh ya i am proud to be canadian

  • i want peace being a buddhist guy , but if the freedom of other religion is jeopardised i would say bravo to candaians , british , americans for saving other countries and neutral countries and non muslim people . may lord buddha bless america and its allies . but please make sure dont kill innocent civilians . that is my humble request and give the govt back to iraq and settle scores with china and burma and on atrocities on tibet and beat the shit out of the extremist leaders of iran

  • WE should not be argueing over who helped who. We should be thanking our boys and girls weither there Canadian or Americian or British they all joined forces and took down the Nazi Party and kicked hitlers Ass. soo I thank every soldier that was there weither there Americian or Canadian they fought for us! God Bless them and there souls!

  • If ANYONE is fighting for MY freedom, they have MY respect...they should have ALL of OUR respect.

  • and the Soviets, there the ones that took berlin and finally ended it

  • ah oui!!! soldats courageux... vive la nation de canada

  • there where like 5 canadians in the italian campaign in WW2.

americans did the heavy lifting there.

  • you have never heard of the battle for Ortona....If you want a quick briefing on it Canadians fought their way into the town while sustaining heavy casualties, and then went house to house killing the german occupants..Thats it in a nutshell...Its more commonly reffered to as the Bloody Christmas

  • I know...one veteren, he was from WWII, told me that "we don't have a future with out the past"....I think this is as true as anything

  • most people of forgotten of ww1 everybody now is focused on ww2

  • God Bless Canada!

  • Can you help America?

  • Hey all you fags who think were weak, we captured Vimy Ridge, in which the americans failed 2 and english 5. We threw one shot when Germany was stronger than ever. If Vimy ridge would still be heavily occupied, Europe would have a crazy time getting it back and eventually loose the south-east.

  • and we kick americans ass back to Washing-ton when they tried to invades us in 1812...

and we take Sicilia, in Italia, and Juno Beach and, and, and.....

    We kick ass, of course...

  • The Canadian soldiers did what alot of other countries soldiers couldnt do. When the surviving German soldiers were asked who they were afraid of the most they replied the Canadians!!

  • The Germans were AFRAID of us CANADIANS!!!

  • the canadians had a reputation from the first world war as being line breakers, we were called Storm troopers, because wed come out of the haze of smoke from artillery and obliterate the germans. we still do that. y do u think the taliban kill more canadians? they think that if they murder enough soldiers helping the civilians that well leave? were not push overs

  • canada rules

  • War is hell, don't ever be brainwashed and join the military

  • naw i think North Korea beats the Amaricains by a mile with the biggest Army plus there Crazyer and we havent lost a war the amaricain's have lost 2 that i know of...

  • Thank You Canada and warm greetings from Denmark!

We will newer forget Canada And for the historybook: Denmark was liberated by the allied armies ( brittish 8.) in may 1945, before that our country was occupied and the best flightpath for entry into germany for many brave allied bombercrews - incl. canadian ones.

The countryside in Denmark is strewn with crashsites and the graves of so many young canadians who came this long way to save us all - Remember them!

  • i respect canada a lot but come on america has the strongest army in the world by far.

  • yep , maybe you guys have the strongest army in the world , but canadians can yell 1 word that you guys cant....UNDEFEATED!

  • so doesn't matter we are still the strongest

  • you where back in the vietnam days , and still one of the weakest country and poorest showed you otherwise. Accept it man , power doesnt mean anythingm if you dont know how to use it.

  • you don't know anything about nam then. here in america people wanted out of nam. if we wanted to we could have won, but we were having problems of our own so we eventually pulled back let the north win. sure it hurt us a nation but we had too. the people wanted to get the troops out of there so we did. check it out. do research before making stupid comments like that.

  • then it clearly shows that you have no idea what its like in the heat of combat, Americans were going insane during that war, thats the one thing we CANADIANS can say we never let ourselves get to. we are the bravest and most nicest people you will ever meet. and also dont forget that most of the wars in the world, America doesnt come into the picture till the very end after the years that we Canadians were fighting, and America still gets there ass's kicked

  • America has always provided the extra push to win the war. When people are struggling America comes to help. This was the case in Vietnam, that and we didn't want the communists to take it. Soldiers were there for 4 to 5 years without break. No going back home no nothing. How would you feel if you spent 4 years away from home knowing that everyday you might day? Plus Americans are not cowards. I have nothing against Canadians. Just don't criticize those who worked their butts off in Nam.

  • for a matter of fact i am going to be going to war soon. and im criticizing those who fought in Nam but the fact that Americans always come in the war late and take the credit, when do you ever hear of Canadians winning the war. And nowadays we clean up the mess that Americans make in other Countries. And believe me i know. So don't tell me this stuff if all you know this from is the news and the internet because all that is biased.

  • Americans take credit for it because without us you wouldn't have won the war. Americans like I said provide the extra push. Sure we come in late but we work our butts off to make sure the allies can win. (WW2) The reason why we come late is because we wanna make sure we are fighting the right war. Americans never leave a mess, tell me one time where the Canadians have cleaned up a mess that the Americans made. (war wise) Good luck in battle and thank you for serving.

  • thank you and a mess that Americans have made war wise is Afghanistan and sure you may work you butts off but that gets nowhere if you dont have the proper training but do Americans ever go lets thank our other allies that helped and fought along side us.I used travel to America each year, for about 6 months at a time, never did i hear anything from the Americans saying thank you Canadians for being there and having our backs,in fact America got mad at us when we wouldnt go into Iraq.

  • my friend the americans have not left Afghanistan it just has not been in the loop lately because of all the stuff in Iran and Iraq, but there are still plenty of Americans there look for Bin Laden. I am sorry we never recognized Canada as a strong ally. You have helped out a lot in the past few years. America wants all the help we can get in Iraq because we are fighting with a blindfold on. We don't if we are killing innocent citizens or leaders of Al Qaida. That's why we need help. Thanks

  • Canadian Armed forces personnel are in Afghanistan in a training and engineering mission. that was the first mission when america blew up all the schools and hospitals. second, we were the lone country willing to free an entire country by ourselves, Belgium, and sustained heavy casualties doing so. mean while the American forces of that time were getting help everywhere logistically and personnel wise. america as i have noticed through the years havent won a war where a large forgien force wasnt

  • its called the war of 1812, or did they teach you about that in history? mab not since you lost. and ur capitol was burned to the ground

  • yup canadians are a proud and succesful people indeed.

  • by the way I like the vid

  • ignorant american why are you such a prick we fought along side you in the wars for christ sake.

  • Canda was in ww1 and ww2 in the beginning and we kicked some major ass. I would gladley give my life for my country Canada.

  • haha you mean that battle that took place after the war of 1812 had ended and the only major battle the americans won, which they use to jusitfy a "win" in that war. thats some very early american propoganda. Helped Jackson become president.

  • typical american ignorance....... this is why the world hates you and loves us... and yes canada has an army since canadian snipers are rated the bes snipers in the world so jward how about you take your money that has the currency of a paso and shove it right up your ass!

    Viva la canada!

  • You better take that comment and shove it up your fucking ass. You bloody fucking americans. I hate you stupid pussies.

    Canada for fucking life!

  • Canada always has had a proud military tradition. I for one am very proud of them now and then.

  • good video shit song.

  • its not a shit song, our lady peace, pure canadian band known by many.

  • great video, it really means a lot.

what is the name of the song that is used?

  • Not enough...By Our Lady Peace I believe

  • in ww1 and ww2 canada has a strong army...They were expirience and they knew battle. In ww1 the americans were unexpirienced teens who without the canadians would have been slaughtered.

  • Americans choose to overshadow our war history. Canada contributed greatly in ww2. Americans need to stop be so self centered and arrogant.

  • I don't like americans, but candians are very friendly ;)

  • Canadians*

  • Thats a great comment. The best thing countries like ours can do is to try and be remembered as friends willing to fight for each other in times of need.

  • well done canada for your contribution to ww2, their was many canadians based at pocklington york where i live.u.k. has only just repaid canada in 2007 the money owed to you for the war, long live the commonwealth.

  • Moretech, Glad to see you know your stuff. Canada should be considered in the minds of others. We lost more troops than the U.S in WWII, and it would be great if people realised that, we are never included in the debates, it's always G. Britain, U.S, France.. We need some respect. We have had it coming for a long time.

  • americans are ignorants because they are the super-power and so they dont need to be smart they can just nuke the hole world tomorrow if they wanted. I saw this documentary and it says that the US has enough bombs to destroy the planet 9 times , in second place comes russia with 6 times.

  • I wish to apologise to the troops for my childish arguement. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you regardless of nationality.

  • Really nice video!!!

  • I think this is why the Great Wars were fought, so that people can bitch at eachother in a world of relative peace.

Grow up and have some respect. Bow your head not because you're of a certain nationality, bow because you're grateful.

If you're not grateful, you probably don't know a whole lot.

    Respect. Learn it.

  • when canada took juno beach on d day they captured more area than the other forces and managed to get to their objectives(which no one else did on their first day) and had harder defences to cross before even making it onto the beach.

  • And canada did not loose more then america in both ww1 and ww2 I looked it up already.

  • Of course Canada did not lose more men than America in the 2 WW's - look at the difference in populations - then put it on a per capita basis and Canada's loses are indeed higher than America's - I too, am Canadian and losing 60,000 men in WW 1 and 42,000 in WW 2 was more than enough.

  • I had to correct u im canadian so dont get up set but only 60,000 died in ww1 not 240,000.

  • But, still you must admit Canada sometimes did suicide missions just for Freedom! Type in Dieppe 1942 in Search youl see how god dam brave Canadians were!

  • I hate the U.S.A they take credit for defenting the Germans in WWI and WWII when Canada in WWI was the best nation in that war! In WWII ya the U.S. had casulties but Canada, Russia, Great Britain soften up the enemy for them they joined WWII in 1942 for god sake!

  • here,here!

  • I did not come hear to defend america but to look at canadian militery history.I like canada.

  • Another thing in ww1 and ww1 we did come in late but in both wars we come in its a still mate we normaly change that. Also in the 4 yaers we were in ww2 we lost more troops then britain did in the whole war.

  • I have to say some thing after reading theese comments canada did not do alot more that is plane stupid to say.America lost 9 times more people then canada.

  • are u retarded. look it up in the history books. Canada lost way more and we were in it from the start because it was the right thing to do, not because we ignored it in till it bit us in the ass(pearl harbor).

  • YEAH GO CANADA

  • loved the video. im canadian.

  • the germans feared the shotgun that the canadains used becuase of the destruction it caused

  • I hate slide shows...

  • Excellent video man. Nice work.

  • Good video maybe this will show the Americans who came in late that canada did alot more

  • this vid makes me proud to be a canadaian

  • very awesome, my brother has done a tour of duty in afghanistan and it is very awesome for me to see a canadian who supports their efforts over there, I also thought your inclusion of korea was excellent. well done

  • awesome vid man bout time we got soem recognition

  • Thanks, I'm trying to find more images of Canadains in battle. I have lots but I want the perfect one for my next Canadian War tribute

  • i got some im one of my vids but theyre all of my grandfather

  • go canada! i thank you for all you've done. if it wasn't for you we could of lost that god forsaken war,and hitler would of kill us all.

  • the death toll for Canada in WW1 wasn't 241,000...it was 60,000.........unless you emant something else other than that Kicka ss video...PROUD TO BE CANDIAN

  • I think when I was making it I added another toll.. I forget which one..Ill be making another one. This was my "Nubish" one :)

  • It was a damn good video though....I loved it.

  • We owe you bunch alot. The Canucks are a brave lot and unlike certain countries....they didnt wait till they themselves were attacked in the second world war. Its sad when nations contributions are over looked by the big guys, and that goes for everyone, not just Canada

  • Great video *clap 5/5

  • well dont assumne that all Americans dont know or anybody else for that matter

  • sorry that wasnt my point , im just mad cose i never knew my grampa cose of that war and when some americain tells me that canadians didnt do shit in ww2 i just wanna smack em

  • np, you learn from watching my vids :D

  • hey dude i know this is a random question but if you are thinking of making another video i suggest the Battle for Ortona it is a little talked about battle but it was dubbed little staliengrad i just finished a book on it and let me tell u it makes me proud to be canadian

  • There was a special on CBC about the Battle of Ortona. My lack of computer skills prevent me from posting it, but Im sure you would be able to find it here or on google.video.

    It is a must watch

  • hey is it possible u can send me that cbc speical i read a book last year on the battle for ortona and i would love to see that show

  • canada has a history? really??

    You moron...everybody has a history

  • what he means is that people have been 'forgeting' that canadians have fought in ww2 . And what i saw is that ameericians kids say that canada where just there to support americains and that they faced the biggest , well they can go 2 hell cose canadians fough for the same reason and where not supporting at all , they fugh for the same reason , wich was freedom , and that they where as close to the ennemie s as americians where. and no amricians didnt had the toughest job ...RUSSIANS DID!

  • poor russians.

  • Not everyone knows canada has an astounding history, so dont go calling people stuff.

  • I know...and I will call people "stuff" all I want to...I am sick of those who think, mostly accused are Americans, Canada is void some how so lay the fuck off

  • Hey moron sunshine1968 how dare you disrespect a tribute to any country I really don"t think he ment people think we have know history. he ment people think we are cute cuddly Canadiens and we have always been soft. And buy the way pretty much the whole damnb world respects canada exept for america. And my response is who fucking cares the whole world hate america i wonder why you disrespectfull prick.

  • Fact: The Canadians and the Soviets were teh only ones the Germans Feared like czy in ww2 because what we did to them in ww1. Dont mess with us, When We fight for what we believe in, we Fight hard

  • For King and Country, its in the Britons genetics, we fight harder because we have a bloodier, savage, and protective nature. Plus the Brits did rule the world. cant say that eh america?

  • I have met some pretty hateful Canadians and looks like you are one of them...I love Canada but I dont like that some think they know Americans so well cause they dont

  • and buy the way i'll be aunest i do not like americans but i do respect them they are are allies and brohers.you dont have to like your brother but respect him

  • Have you spoke to the average Canadian. Most don't even know about battles such as Vimy Ridge or contributions to both World Wars. Props go out to the creator.

  • I know, its really sad.

  • maybe your generation. everybody i know, knows about all that stuff

  • yeah and I dated a few and have a few that are personal freinds of mine - i know a lot about Canada..but dont assume shit about other people- trust me I have heard some hateful shit out of some Canadians that was unprovoked so shut the fuck up- oh and my Canadian friends say fuck you too

  • I'll have you know i've worked in the staes so dont assume i dont know americans for a legal assitant i thought you would be smarter than that

  • I am smart ...and dount you assume either that ALL Americans are stupid...dont you think that's fair?? and I am not dissing anything about Candadians...I was just making a jokewith my first commnet ..man, and they say Americans are sensitive about thier patriotism...

  • hey , search for 'stupid americans' and youll see that americians dont know shit about the world and even theyre own country.

  • Well I DO know A LOT about the world. It's very easy to say that most Americans don't and there are many reasons why I wouldn't dispute that argument. However, I think it would be a good idea for those who are not Americans to understand the many reasons, political and otherwise, as to why they Americans are ignorant instead of the same argument of just being innately stupid.

  • i think ill save my arguments for somebody a little less hypacritical. One comment you hate us next you love us . i don't think you know what your thinking

  • Great video. Canada is a beatiful country and no doubt that it has contributed in many ways to keeping the world safe and free.

  • we , canadians , believe that we must die for freedom and humanity , not for money or territory. And , for that reason , I am proud to be Canadian , I am a french canadian , but I , unlike many of my kind , believe in my country , more then in my province.

  • wow I love your comment!

  • That's right! And we also penetrated the furthest on D-Day on Juno beach. And we captured Ortona in the Italian Campaign WW2. Canada's participation in the World Wars has given me so much pride in the country. Great video.

  • Canada may not have the biggest army, canada may not be the strongest, canada may not be the richest, but ill tell you right now, canada has the most pride out of any other country out there. When we fight we fight straight from the heart to help those in need.

  • Good Vid slowmode, I enjoyed it. Imagine if you made a video on every single one of Canada's military operations from 1812 - present, it would take up hours and hours. Canada has sacrificed 100's of 1000's of lives and 100's of 1000's of more wounded. It's about time the world recognized who we are and they should sit up and take notice.

  • in ww2 - Usa Faught for themselves ... U.k Fought to protect from Invasion ... Canadians Faught volunterey ... to protect another country when they were under no threat

  • Ironic how in the Vietname War, while some American war dodgers went to Canada, some Canadians went south to get enlisted.

Not saying that the Americans didn't help around the world. Just find it ironic.

  • Great video, this is going on my blog. Canadians do not appreciate the military enough...

  • That is awesome, I never knew the full extent of the Canadian's involvement in the wars.

  • ya im canadian eh

  • I know, :( Small mistakes but oh well

  • you gatta make the slides that says the death tolls a lot longer i can hardly read them

  • Your figures are out to lunch.

Almost 67'000 Canadians died in WW1.

    Roughly 45'000 in WW2

    About 516 in Korea

A couple hundred in Vietnam [not that anyone in Canada gives a fuck]

  • we did more than the states did

  • Yeah, even though I'm not Canadian, I don't really get why everyone is all "lol, canada" if you get what I mean.

  • I always wanted to make a WW2 video about canada but its hard to sort out british and canadian footage.

  • That's easy JoeBoy. The Canadians are the one's who were doing all of most of the fighting up the Coast of France, Belgium and Holland. Where there was low lying wet land, those were Canadians. The US, Brits and Canada literally liberated all of western Europe. Not one country can say they alone did it.

  • hud

  • Wow Another Great Video, Keep up the Good Work.

  • Sweet video, I love the song :P Well done

  • This was a very informative video. I think perhaps amoung the best you have done.

  • nice r winters
