I think the point of this multi monitor technology is probably boaring more towards the high resolution display, rather then it being a "better alternative" to a large HDTV screen. I mean 5000 resolution is pretty amazing but then again, that is gonna be a right fps killer for alot of graphics cards, plus the monitor panel edges would get annoying in certain games.

I think the lines between the monitors is the worst thing.... if they could come up with a single panel of the same size and resoution then i'd get one... otherwise its like having a screen with several lines of dead pixels in the way...

The video is to show what is possible "now".

In a few years those monitors will be worthless, maybe they will make single monitors with resolutions of the 6 who knows,

and the card he is talking about will be too.

It's a demonstration, they're not going to millions advertising it now, and no you can't get the same results from a projector as 6 x high resolution screens.
