Great, now we might get some quality movies out of you. I might consider removing drinks from the area, as you are now over-invested in hardware and software...
I'm still stuck on Linux... might eventually go twards MAC in the future if FC works great for you. I miss editing. :( YOu are right, video making is very addictive.. :)
The install took all damn day. The main problem was a licensing one. It turns out that you can't upgrade from Final Cut Express 4. I had to hunt for a serial number that would work.
Are you putting that on your iMac or is that a Mac Pro on the floor? Is that Apple display attached to your iMac? I've been thinking of getting an iMac but I really like having two displays and was wondering how well that works with the iMac.
I have the second display connected to the iMac to run dual head. Two 1920x1200 displays work nicely together.
The top end 27" iMac can also run as a display since Display Port is bidirectional (unlike HDMI). You can certainly hook up another display to it though.
I agree. I wish I held out long enough to get a 27" model. However, the 24" model that I have is still pretty kick ass. The MacPro was just too much money for me. Also, I rarely expand a computer beyond memory. I just buy a new one. I expect to be using what I have, an iMac, 17" MBP, and 12" PowerBook G4 for some time to come.

Don't count on it.
I've just put a web bar over the backup drives. Is that a bad idea?

Bathroom reading. lmao.
So why do you shake so much? Are you nerves? OR is that medical?
Good that you put the camera on a tripod been wanting to tell you that you need to do that. Always. lol.

To understand the force, you must study it in all its aspects, including the dark side.
I've already run into disappointments. It's all Obi Wan's fault!

Fud....O see that at the end, you've installed it. Did you sit back with get 6 or 7 of those glasses of OJ? The install takes freaking forever.

The big box on the floor is a Velodyne subwoofer.

I'm still using a G5. I'm overdue for an upgrade. I'm really considering one of the new iMacs. We just got some in at work and they're sweet.
