guys i cant post vid my plants look like 1 quarter the size of this in height and has 22leaves and 20 cerrated and its only about as round as one of his leaves on his anyone give me some advise its 3 weeks and doing good accept i think it has nitrogen deficiency or light deficiency but i cant workout cause the signs of both are so close to each other but i tryed leaveing outside alday hasnt done anything so i think its time to fertalize anyone that thinks they know whats wrong please comment bak

@milan198611 That sucks. I used miracle grow potting mix it feeds the plant for 6 months which is long enough to get a full plant. All I need to do is water evey other day and let it sit in the sun

@iNvRG That 6 months estimate is based on normal house plants; cannabis grows much faster than normal house plants and also requires much more food. It can also handle much more fertilizer. I I have the same miracle grow potting mix that says 6 months but if you look at the N-P-K levels in it, they are something like 0.17-0.12-0.1, while a very weak Vegetative fertilizer will have N-P-K levels of at least 8-4-4

@milan198611 In the US, potting soil is sold in different "Grades", I don't know if this is true in other countries but "Premium" is the top grade and you will get better results using "Premium" soil. Also, most premium potting soils will have enough plant food to feed your plant for 3-4 weeks. Never give fertilizer to a plant younger than 4 weeks because it is very very hard to give it a small enough dose to not kill it. This is how I lost my first few plants till I learned when to fert :D

fox farms for sure, and a PH meter couldnt hurt, in the beginning stages the soil is best with high nitrogen, but I have seen plants survive some strange elements, It can be different everytime.

weed is a stong plant, if it dies it wasn't meant to live. Keeping weaklings around contaminates the gene pool. Don't forget basic biology when growing to get the best plants that you can cherish for years.

@looks911 nope that is indeed 4 weeks, ive had a batch at this rate 3 weeks after germination. notice the lack of leaves on the lower sections. the plant has been focussing on growing tall which is due to getting more red spectrum light.

@REDDEAD337 what you can do to make ur plant bushy is trim it.. once its a little over a foot you can start trimmin it. u can cut off 3 or 4 branches from the top and the bottom leaves and yellow leaves also... plants stems thicken depending of the environment.. if u give good wind itll thinken. the plant tries to stay up without alot of movement so it thinckens its stem.. hope this helps u out

@jncvlls accually you can start trimming your plant as soon as it has a couple branches i'd say a week and a half possibly 2 weeks and trim it up a little

@REDDEAD337 You asked that 4 months ago but if you haven't found the real answer here it is. The stem gets stronger and thicker by having something blowing on it so it can get stronger from the reaction of wind blowing it so a nice little fan on it when you have the light on it will get a thick stem. And for the bushy part, put your light 2-3 right over the plant so it don't stretch and try to reach resources. Keep the fan on it if you got the light that close so it don't burn. :) Enjoy man!
