A good take on most common families where both couples are working professionally and have passed through that 'passionate' stage as a couple, leaving true love to reveal itself but not without first accepting another one from an unexpected source.
This inspiring movie has done miracle works and strengthen many families or couples. So on that note, I think it's a true testament that it's worth your time to watch it.
Even worst, the wife's parents are not capable of caring for themselves so the wife places the strain on her husband. The Bible is clear that the children ought not lay up for the parents, but the parents should lay up for the children. Why is Caleb, faced with having to provide economically for his mother-in-law's personal needs? The Bible is clear that if a man does not take care of his very own household that he is WORST than an infidel or a sinner.
Instead of the daddy directing his son to use the Bible, he gives a philosphy, formulas to have a successful marriage. Joshua 1:8 states to meditate in the Bible to make our way successful and have good success. You have a woman working outside of her home, which is falling apart, and her husband who is making a living for he and his wife, but now attempting to cook, wash dishes, etc. in order to pacify his wife's desires to be a single woman with a career which is outside of her home.
Once a woman decides to marry, she loses the liberty to do what she pleases. She now has responsibility to take care of her home and now her husband. In the Bible Ruth worked and gleaned in a field. She was a single woman. In the movie "Fireproof," if his wife decided to come home and cook, clean, wash his clothes, etc., they would not have had a story line. The producers of this movie tailored it exactly as what is happening in this world which is contrary to the word of GOD.
The Bible states that GOD is not the author of confusion in which "Fireproof," begins with it between the husband and his wife concerning the duties in the upkeep of the home which according to the Bible it is the woman's responsibility to guard the home. The male character is attempting to make a decent living for he and his wife while she refuses to be the keeper at the home or in the home. She has this job which is taking her away from caring for a husband who she chose to marry.
As long as this movie spread good values, I don't mind that it's partly Christian publicity. I'm not a Christian but I will respect every good religion.
i'm not quite sure what you mean by "good", but there's only one worthy of recognition. it's the one that teaches and upholds this movie's values and beliefs, and if you wouldn't mind i'd like to share it with you.
This was one of the most moving and wonderful movies I have ever seen in my life. Everyone, and I mean everyone no matter who they are, needs to see this. It's true, God's love will save us all and we can't really know anything or anyone until we know him.
Who do you think pays for the radio shows to "take" these movies apart? Do you think they watched this movie on their own? They were told to watch this movie and pick it apart. It's the New Secular Order. They want to get rid of religion and virtues. Look at the bigger picture.
im sorry that you feel this way. God is truly amazing and without Him i wouldnt be who i am now and i wouldnt be where i am. i will be praying for you all :)

Caleb can't handle his marriage because his dad sexually molested him as a child. At least that's what they'll show in the pre-quel "Anal Proof".

Fireproof is a Spoof!!

The LORD has requested that I address this movie which seems to be so accepted and popular even amongst the "believers" or professing "Christians."
What happened to women should be keepers AT HOME?
