  • Fantastic!!!!!

  • Cool. Sounds like a collision of Conlon Nancarrow & Frank Zappa.

  • monstrous!

  • I sure wish a video of the player piano was included with the audio. It would be interesting to see what kind of gymnastics is required to perform that. Excellent arrangement.

  • Better than the original.

  • great

  • Nice one!

  • This SO makes me want to transcribe this for saxophone ensemble.

  • Very well done. Even FZ would like your playing!

  • Very nice! More please!!

  • thats just... awesome :)

  • Niiiiiice! It is just fantastic, the arrangement is very original, the backing is great. You really catched the mood of the piece and developed it to the maximum potential of a "not-for-humans" piece. It's excellent! Well done!

  • It's like Frank and Conlon Nancarrow had a bastard love-child...very nice!

  • This has incredible energy even compared to the original. I quite enjoyed it.

  • Do you publish "I survived listening to G-spot Tornado- Novelty Pieces Op. 5 No. 1" bumper stickers?

This makes playing the regular version seem possible!

  • Simply GREAT!!!!!!

  • Nice rendition, congrats. The extremely fast repeated notes are impossible even on a player piano, because of the time it takes for the hammer to get back before it can be struck again, but it works nice in midi.

  • This is incredible. Musically a great tribute to the original, yet a distinct fresh take on it (and true to the spirit of the piece, in that it was never written for human musicians to play). Well done to you!

  • @mentalinadustbin

why does everybody think that this "wasn't *meant* for humans to play"? Have you not heard G-spot Tornado on The Yellow Shark? (played by humans, conducted by Zappa durrr....)

  • Because when the orchestra suggested playing it Zappa himself said it'd be "impossible". Like many of the pieces on "Jazz from hell" g-spot was an exploration of what could be done with the synclavier. Not to belittle the yellow shark, it's an excellent concert including a great perfomance of G-spot tornado. I'd recomend that everyone listen to the whole thing. Some of The ZPZ performances of it are pretty good too, though you can see the musicians struggle to keep up!

  • Do you have sheet music for this? Or anything I can use to see your arrangement? It would be greatly appreciated
