If you watch their whole series of Doctor Who fan films, its impressive writing and simple enough stories that the poor effects and looks doesn't matter.

Incorrect...These guys are frankly geniuses...They've taken everything serious, hurled it out the window and STILL made a very intesting and funny fan film series. Normally I'd HATE this...the Doctor saving the universe with a barrel of moneys or fighting the Cybermen at basket ball...But it is so well made, the Doctor and Hayley have a fantastic working relationship VERY akin to the series, This is a fantastic fan series...
