If you really understand and read about Singapore's economic success, you will know it was about a lot more than the PAP. @akarsno .. I just read the news that even a journalist taking photos of flooding was handcuffed by the police. What offense had he committed? What was the reason? Can you explained? Is Singapore like that? The police can do what they like? Are they above the law?
