I live right outside of philly, and I just found out that one of the local radio stations, wdas-fm is gonna be hosting a secret studio performance for a live audience at there station on August 18th.
Apparently they will be streaming it too via ustream-dot-com, so we all can watch. Good for me because I'll be stuck at work all day, but i can watch on my computer.

She's one of the few artist that I can just play the album the whole way through without skipping a track and that's saying alot. Vivian makes great music with fantastic lyrics.
I recently just started taking her music in because someone told me that my voice reminded them of her...I'm remembering her classics like Emotional Rollercoaster and I'm more than flattered she is amazing. She definetely needs to COME BACK ! =)
that album was outstanding...even the cover, she looks like a classical dancer, it looks real, the music sounds real, even the sample in this song, one of the great jazz songs of the last 35 years ("the crusaders "it happen everyday). But, on the second album, she seems to try to be too pop, and some artists cannot pull that off, and that is a good thing, let them know to stick to what's good, and what you feel. I hope she comes out with another like "Love Story"

That album had Wishful thinking, What Is Love, Emotional Rollercoaster, Final Hour, No Sittin By the Phone and Keep On Going. All R&B classics for me.
I don't know what happened on her second release though, wow was it disappointing. I think she will come strong again though. That debut album was to solid to be a fluke.

sounds so good and one of my fav's off of the album, have to say as good as this sounds playing your own copy on your system is even nicer so get the mp3 or cd and listen again the piano is sweet, thanks to joe sample and the crusaders

Yo, I really didn't remember who she was until I checked out the "Gotta Go Gotta Leave video" then I was like I remember her. She got a nice style. I think Ima have to check out her cd. This song is real cool, I like it.
