  • K-DUST

  • Always loved CCR.

  • @CrazyAirbourneFan take a seat right here - smoke a stoggie with olders oooooohhhh yeeeeaaaaaa

  • were the hell is the lyrics!!???

  • @oasis54ful hey dummy click show more in description under the video....

  • It always amazes me that a guy from the SF bay area wrote and performed this song. How the hell did Fogerty do it? Its like he was possessed by the soul of a 1930's southerner.

  • This song gives me the strangest urge to fly in an Apache Helicopter and shoot missiles at random criminals.

  • I was 16 in 1996, and wanted the best of CCR cd more than anything for my birthday. I have no idea why. I still have the double disc, and still listen to it.

  • i love this song. they pick't the best blues scale

  • "I can hear the bullfrog callin' me"

  • wheres the lyrics lol???

  • @joelhamiltonsvideos In the description

  • CCR the best American Rock Band.

  • best fucking song ever

  • This is without a doubt the best song CCR ever recorded.

  • @thinthin54 This song, Lodi and Fortunate Son.

  • Thumbs up if you didn't come from GTA SA.

  • I'm sure everyone agrees that CCR probably has the Most unique sound in Rock and Roll....

  • nice =)

  • Slow it down a bit and the rhythm is like Clapton's Cocaine

  • Glad someone translated what he said, I could never understand a bloody word of it!

  • 20 people missed the like button by accident and the remaining 10 thought it was the download button.

  • Quintessential Mystical South.

  • @TheJbach The funny fact is that CCR is from California

  • 29people got sludge in their green river(eeeeww).

  • ALL THE DISLIKERS ARE VICTOR CHARLIE!!!!!!!!

  • @rebelsoldier121 vietcong? ;)

  • This song bring back the good ol days of visiting down South in Florida after coming home from 'NAM. Being invited by my white Army Ranger brothers to come down to the Suwannee for a little hog and fishing R/R. I will always remember how close and friendly the folks are. And they are so damn 'FOR REAL.

So. I decided to move waaaay down South in Dixie!

  • San Andreas

  • REVOLUTION IS COMING

    are you awake?

  • K-DST ROCKS

  • Damn he wrote some good lyric.

  • GTA SA have the best musics

  • Green River. You could be listening to the greatest Rock and Roll Song without knowing it. The opening riff is the stone skipping across the water. The lead break between versus 2 and 3 is the swamp at night with frogs croaking and mosquitoes buzzing. What John Fogerty does with this song to recreate being at Green River during the day and at night is amazing. But the sad part is not many people realise what they are listening to - the perfect rock and roll song.

  • @lordluskn thank you that comment was amazing

  • @lonerguitarboy2 Thanks guitarboy - glad that someome else 'gets it'.

  • ha this was at a football game i was like shit stop i have herd this be for and i had a flashback with my dad ha good times

  • This is the best music there is!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was a little boy listening to these tunes that my brothers ,which had just come back from their tours in Viet Nam, and enjoyed having them home and this music brings back good memories and proud memories. My brothers fought for our country and with pride. God Bless All Our Soldiers Of Old And New!!! I also was in the military for 21 yrs and went to Iraq in 2002-2003 and fought for our country as well but didn't have to endure the war like they did.

  • ahhh... it's good to kick back and enjoy this tune properly, if you know what i mean ;)

  • @JittersInternational fuck yes

  • @JittersInternational with a joint?

  • @JittersInternational nice insider, we know what you mean

  • @JittersInternational with da ganja?

  • @JittersInternational What do you mean?

  • I honestly think they should get rid of this stupid joke like right now there's 29 dislikes, and i get tired of ppl saying 29 ppl this and 29 ppl that, they should get rid of that feature cuz that stupid joke is getting on my nerves everytime i see those jokes on videos.

  • If real music like this is played loud enough and within range of Justin has a Beaver or Lady Caca they instantly burst into flames from the shock of hearing what good music actually is. Shorty after that they then self destruct, only to respawn later as turds in the nearest city sewer plant. Thats where they can then start the long and perilous journey to grow into back into their full forms again if they can just listen to enough bad modern "music" to nurse themselves back to health.

  • This song was amazing way before GTA!!!

  • @larcenyinc Idk what they are but they DON'T know good music!

  • @larcenyinc im an emo self cutter and i like this son but im still giving you a thumbs up

  • @larcenyinc

I could have sworn the emo thing was dead in 2011. The emos grew up and became lame ass hipsters.

  • @larcenyinc <.< im emo and i like this?

  • @larcenyinc Chill, dude. Music is a matter of taste, not a 'right or wrong and let's insult the people we don't agree with' deal. CCR did this song at Woodstock. They 'got' Woodstock. Look at a setlist -- we had all kinds of people performing there and we dug them all. Folks could dislike this for all kinds of reasons -- even if they really dig CCR they might hate that photo. Or they might prefer live performances. CCR were an awesome band but they weren't haters.

    Peace.

  • this is one song you are always glad to hear no matter what I love it in 1970 and still do now!

  • muito obom ...

  • conduction, convection, radiation= CCR ^_^ great song, great band.

  • The old good rock.

Love it. Makes relaxed even me, very busy , sometimes feared and nervous guy...

  • i discovered CCR a month ago. When my English teacher heard me listening to CCR before class, he was like ''oh, if you like CCR i can borrow you some of my old albums, original, from 60s, man that were good times, when i was young we had everything, we smoked everything!'' I was like O.o... i guess he was a big CCR fan in younger days XD BTW i am not from America, i am from Serbia, and that makes my teacher even more weird :)

  • @misteraxl1 that just makes him awesome!!!

  • @misteraxl1 even more weird? Don't you mean even more AWESOME?

  • @misteraxl1 wow most English teachers have smoked pot at some point but very few of them actually admit it. You should appreciate this guy- he keeps it real!

  • @misteraxl1

dude, i think there is more of this in serbia than in america now haha :D Jugoton records ftw

  • @misteraxl1 well same thing here, just exclude the teacher ;) also CCR has some goood weeeeeed songs ;)

  • @misteraxl1 Lol Serbia?! SERIOUSLY!? Voleo bi I ja da imam takvu nastavnicu/profesorku :P

  • flying through the desert listening to this song in san andreas

  • Haha YES Cody! Finally a song with my name in it!

  • Im 12 and have been listening to this music, its better than todays music. CCR, Beatles, Pink Floyd, nothing like old school music.

  • One of my favorite CCR tracks. Grew up with the band and never realized they had so many hits. Amazingly talented guys....

  • I used to always here this song as well as many other songs by CCR on the radio when i was 5 or 6, out of all the other songs i would hear, CCR would always seem to stand out, so i guess you could say im a lifelong fan.

  • ohhhhh i never realized that this was CCR's song...

    awesome song

  • i feel bad that my generation don't listen this bands

  • In 1969, at 19, I wanted to freeze time. Like "A Tale of Two Cities" we knew it was the best of times, the worst of times, but it was OUR time, when bands like CCR knew how to say in song what was in our hearts and on our minds. Fantastic music just poured out everywhere, like a spring run-off river, unstoppable.

  • @sharing1949 Im 18 years old, and im honestly depressed at what we call "music" nowadays. You are truly a lucky person to experience so many movements at the most prime age. I envy you, my friend. :[

  • san andreas :D

  • Oh Yeahhhh !!

  • im lookin for green river!

  • year?

  • I'm from New Zealand and I love this.

  • 24 people arnt from the south

  • @youputz1 im accutally not from the south im 15 and i live in UPSTATE ny not the dang city. but i wish i was a dixie

  • @kar98ksmith Although they have a southern sound, this band was actually from northern California. So don't feel bad if you live somewhere like Albany or Watertown, NY. (but if you can get the heck out of there, I assure you, your life will take a turn for the better.

  • @martinbill123321 thanks for the tip man

  • @kar98ksmith I'm from Denmark and I like this.

  • @bladerunner951 im acctually from upstate ny

  • @kar98ksmith Chicago, IL here and I love CCR.

  • @recon1949 Oh wow! I love vietnam vetran stories! My mom as born there so I know what SHE went through. I never heard what everyone else went through though. Please say more? I'd LOVE to listen. =)

  • @recon1949 lucky would have loved to be around in that era. Not only for the great music produced over the years.

  • @recon1949

    I'm so jealous.

  • @recon1949 So did I, in '69, at Kiel Auditorium in St. Louis. It was my first concert and the ticket cost a whopping $3.25!

  • @recon1949 lucky

  • @recon1949 wish i was alive back when music was good, :/

  • @inuyasha5114 i agree

  • I really need to be there. Right now.

  • I heard this song for the first time, llive, at Woodstock. Bought the single the following week, and still have it. Every time I hear this song it carries me back to that summer night, 42 years ago

  • Wow, how about that last comment? Question...how bad would it suck to have your phone number posted on Youtube?

  • What year is this song from ?

  • @MisterAAnderson Released in July 1969..
