@duces02 Depends on what you want to do in the military. If you want to say, be a medic, join the Army. If you want to see combat, join the marines (though we might all be out of Afghanistan by 2014 so no guarantee there). Marines will be mainly deployed in the Pacific in the near future. Army you get more overall options when it comes to job choices and you're more likely to get some schools like airborne. Depends on what you want. hope that helps.

@WaCCo80 Also I have been attending a military school for the past year, as I am aiming to join General Infantry next year, and I visited two military bases on different occasions, and the soldiers at the base hold the Navy and Airforce in high regard, as they all have a part to play in keeping people safe. Even the coast guard are very highly respected.

@duces02 Depends on what you want to do in the military. If you want to say, be a medic, join the Army. If you want to see combat, join the marines (though we might all be out of Afghanistan by 2014 so no guarantee there). Marines will be mainly deployed in the Pacific in the near future. Army you get more overall options when it comes to job choices and you're more likely to get some schools like airborne. Depends on what you want. hope that helps.
