I know exactly what you mean. Lupe and Blu have been my favourite rappers for a good while now (and have had the honour of seeing em both live). Lupe's lyrics aim to carry ambiguity, they're more complex in that way, but the thing with Blu is, he wants people to know his story and isn't really going into all that conscious stuff Lupe is. The way I see it Blu tells the story of the average dude, but in such a creative way, through such delicately crafted lyrics. End of the day, both ILL lyricists
