Yes, he was a great man, he came to my father's funeral in 1996. My father worked with him at NBC in Washington. To say someone was the 'best' at this and that after someone dies is so cliche but in Tim Russert's case, it was true. He thought so much about others. He was one of a kind.

Tim Russert will be missed.
I saw the interview with his son on the Today show this past Monday.
He had a very loving family, and I remember Tim talking about both his son and father who he called "Big Russ"
NBC will have a hard time finding someone to replace him on Meet the Press.
