it is the only one that sounds right! It is on end of 2nd fret...almost on the metal part that is separating frets. If i play it on first fret as John does it doesent sound good, so this is the only solution!
nononono :D i am playing it on 2nd fret e string (i use mi index finger for it - like in barr chords if oyu know what i mean)..and yea, I do realize you cant get (at least i cant :P) harmonic like that one on 1st fret, but still j5 is j5 :P ive also seen lots of different people playing on first and they get it right..most dont tho :D
thats amazing =]

you're playing the wrong harmonic.
you're supposed to play it a little after the second f ret on the low e string.

the fret IS the metal part. that's why i say a little after the second fret. if you don't believe it, i can even show you ...

i play it ok then...thats how i do it! john does it on first, but i do it on second and it sounds like it should. Period!

i was pretty sure you were playing it on the 4 fret on the D string, mind ...
but john can't play it on the 1st fret, it's impossible to get an harmonic there !
