I wish so badly that all these kids would be straightedge for the rest of their time on Earth. But the FACT is that sadly, most of the participants in this video will not be edge forever.  In fact, MOST of these kids won't be edge in five years. As a 40 year old hardcore kid who has been into punk since 1984, I've seen thousands & thousands of kids grow completely out of straightedge & hardcore as a whole. It really pisses me off, but I'm left with some good music!

@vadermask In the early to mid 90's EVERYONE said they would be edge forever, and even got downright rude & violent if you tried to suggest otherwise. And those kids were some of the most sincere, dedicated, & committed that there was! The amount of bands, fanzines, shows, etc was astonishing! Fifteen years later and you would be hard-pressed to find a SINGLE kid who is still edge. Without a doubt EARTH CRISIS is about the only group that still clings to that "oath."
