Yes, we gain a greater understanding of things as we learn more about them. With new knoledge and facts come greater understanding, but without a source of new infomation, without any new facts (any facts at all) you're just making shit up.

I'll give her the benefit of the doubt - her answer in part 1 was quite good.

So far - the "Rabbi" - "my belief in God is quite strong", "I prefer clever sophistry" and Dawkins are the most impressive.
