I think you're not right, dumbass. If you don't like Paul's music, don't hear it and shut the f*** up. Let us enjoy his music. We don't need you and your kind. Step aside. Move over.
It's good, but not perfect. It needs more electric guitar, like the one in Taxman, goodmorning etc. And different drums. A real bass and piano piano. It needs a different ending. But the sounds are compelling and it's nicely spiritual. Almost like Madonna's Ray Of Light, which I think is good. In general I think you could say it's quite promising, but for now it needs a little extra.
HOLY COW!! I am KNOCKED OUT! This is FANTASTIC!! I LOVED "Rushes", but didn't care for the first album...I'm not big on "McCartney II" either, but this is more like a cross between the best parts of "McCartney II" & "Rushes". This is just so great that if the upcoming "Fireman" album is anywhere near this good, it'll be almost as good as getting another "regular" album...like the wonderful "Memory Almost Full" !! Blessings!!
Hi. I'm a huge McCartney fan. In your post on Youtube you mentioned an upcoming Fireman album. Really? Is one coming up? Wow ! Lifetime Passion is FANTASTIC !Could you send me some info on the new CD ? Thanks, and have a terrific day.
I just know that there has been a lot written about McCartney working on a new album with Youth, the collaborator on all The Fireman album. There has been no formal announcement, about it (title, or even confirmation that it is a Fireman album) other than the release of this track, and word that it is due out sometime this Summer; probably soon. I'm pretty sure we are getting the 3rd Fireman album, but who knows exactly what that will bring. This ups the expectations to a pretty high level.
The following is from McCartney's official website: "This special Paul McCartney track, 'Lifelong Passion', is a track Paul recorded under the name The Fireman, the result of collaborations between Paul McCartney and respected producer Youth. They released two albums in the 90's and have been working on a follow up in recent months. More news to follow on this project but 'Lifelong Passion' gives you a taste of what is to come.". There you go. Blessings!!
Paul Mccartney is such a gift to the world; how many other artists have been as productive and good as him? I hope he never stops making such wonderful music and i really hope he goes on tour!!
eh...It's ok..I'll take McCartney 2 and a track like "Check My Machine" over this. Sounds like peter gabriel- not too fond of Englishmen singing "world" music.
WOW!! I am BLOWN AWAY! This is GREAT!! I LOVED "Rushes", but didn't care for the first album...not big on "McCartney II" either, but this is like a cross between the best of "McCartney II" & "Rushes". This is so great that if the album is anywhere near this good, it'll be almost as great as getting another "regular" album...like the wonder that was "Memory Almost Full" !! Blessings!!
I hope that this means the 3rd cd from The Fireman is on the way!! The first 2 are so worth it, this is the first Fireman track that he sings on, an added bonus for sure!!!

Don't like it at all, sounds weird. Expecting the belly dancers to show up any minute.
Come on McCartney get back to rock and roll.
