Wish BGC was more balanced~ 5-6 are so goddamn SUPERB vs the rest of the show it's almost painful. Not to say there aren't some gems in 1 and 4, and I loooved Scoop Chase (8) a lot, exposed the potential the show could have had from a fun and quality perspective but... hey, the past is the past. What could have been, could have been~ I wish there was a future for BGC, but I'm glad we got what we did. It's magical~

No, they don't, sadly. It's all Yugioh and Pokemon and Death Note, and a ton of overhyped TV serials.

BGC Episode 5 and 6 really made you feel for the characters and for me are considered best of the episodes. If some people decide to go ahead with making a movie of BGC, they should focus on this part of the OVA series.

I heard that they are going to make the movie based on the ova. Also six different countries are going to be involved in the making along with the creators of the ova. I and a few other people are planning to be the first ones in line to see it. Lets hope they stay true to it- labelashavoc

Someone newer anime aren't half bad, check out out Code Geass, that's pretty good. Still cant beat the classics though, still love the original Astro Boy, that was a fun anime.

I really enjoyed the new series as they were able to flesh out the story so much more. The original fell apart due to a lack of funding (I believe), BUT I still prefer the older series. I was my first anime and the music was so important to the story.

I am glad I picked up all of the CDs about 10 years ago as they seem to be impossible to find anymore.

Thanks alot, just posted a BGC AMV from Placebo that got removed from YT a long time ago. A pity BGC doesn't get more traffic, I love Bubblegum Crisis so much. It's one of the first anime's I ever got to see when I was a kid. Glad I got introduced by such a quality series. Kids are missing out.
