  • Have you notice the majority of movies that has to do with end of the world, such as The Fifth Element, deep impact, 2012, and much more always have a black president. Now we have a Black President = Obama. The end of the world might happen verysoon!!

    Obama is the antichrist!

When our Lord JESUSCHRIST returns, He (the antichrist/obama) will say that is an ALIEN INVASION

Repent and accept JESUSCHRIST as your Saviour and Lord , the WRATH OF GOD upon this stupid world is very near!!

  • the mozzarella sticks im eating remind me of this movie.... i love mozzarella sticks and i love this movie

  • Fuck yeah! so sick of infected or "rage" zombies. We need decomposing grave-bursting zombies!

  • Blue Underground will release this movie on Blu-Ray format on October 24th 2011!!

    Please support this release!!!

  • @camrebirth Awesome, can't wait

  • "Help Mommy, I had an accident with the lawn mower"

  • Quick! Shoot it in the head!

  • best zombie ever ...plain an simple

  • @frazleburger your absolutely right

  • This is probably the coolest zombie in the movie, next to the conquistador zombie featured on the film poster, movie case, etc.

This one 16 second scene is a great example as to why this movie is so much different from other zombie movies. This is way more eerie, way more realistic, and way more gruesome than other undead movies.

  • i feel sorry for everyone who wants this movie re-made. you find a director who can capture the atmosphere like fulci did, in any of his movies. no one can top the italian cinema's eye for visuals, and if it was remade, i can almost guarantee Matool will be a spring break resort, and paris hilton will be in it. so keep talking like you want it remade, because it will only get butchered in the long run.

  • I'm kinda confused...how did the zombies invade? That scientist guy made a disease or made the vaccine for the disease and conquistadors rose from the ground after thousands of years yet the disease was just discovered..what happened?

  • @ZombieBiohazard Vodoo man...

  • there is something especially eerie about the zombies of Fulci's films rising and walking around in broad daylight. it kinda defies the "rules" of horror films in general, that the bad stuff can only happen at night.

  • @goo83 you nailed it :-)

  • this movie was alright

  • Hollywood needs to remake this movie! Rob zombie should be the one to remake this classic horror movie!

  • @chatwithpauly - Rob Zombie is a glorified action director. He could never manage the great slow burn of Fulci's best atmospheric moments. However... The Beyond? He can go to town on, I don't care. Hell- let Sheri Moon be Emily. OR Liza. But I think she'd want to be Emily. Martha? She would have to dye her hair. Or wear a wig.

  • @chatwithpauly I think I am the only person that can re-make this film....

  • Such a good part. Despite it's mishaps, this movie could conduct a sense of dread that most movies can't even brush on.

  • one of my dad friends went to watch this movie in the lion king theater in long beach,he said there were a lot of people screaming and around half of them left the place,he said there was a lot of advertisments about the extreme violence of the movie next to posters with zombies saying were going to eat you,i can imagine the people screaming in the eye penetration scene

  • I got to see it in the theatres when I was 16, though I was too young to see it. A guy at the old 25th Street Cinema in Easton, Pennsylvania knew me and my family from repeated visits, and he was pretty cool with me getting in.

My cousin and I sat thru the whole movie and my mom was totally disgusted when the zombies were eating the woman on the floor.

She walked out and told us she was going shopping next door and she would be bak when the movie was over. A few people left with her too.

  • this flick was ok.but how it gets put in the same class ad dawn of the dead is beyond me.

  • @allenlindley - Oh, that's only in cult circles. Most of us know the difference between style-horror and substance-horror. Like Halloween vs. Friday the 13th, most people can probably tell Dawn of the Dead has substance and Zombie is just a nasty, fun (for the most part) schlock flick.

  • @FourFliesDVD

I agree with that up to a point, but the problem with Romero's zombies, is that they look alive because their eyes are open and looking around like a conscious person. The zombies in Fulci's film look corrupted and evil, whereas Romero's sometimes create sympathy, which detracts from their scare potential.

  • @eddiefuzz - Excellent point. But then, I thought the thing that was supposed to be scary about the film *is* the living people. Their instance upon living off of artificial things. Their being "hypnotized," as Fran says, by the mall. It symbolically destroys their lives and directly destroys their relationships. Now, yeah, I wouldn't be too impressed by that either if the movie didn't also have such a damn good music score. And of course, the mall really is huge and has so much in it.

  • Sorry, not "instance" - inSIStance.

  • lol

creepy mind rape (thats a compliment)

  • It was "UNRATED" and I saw when it first arrived in U.S. theaters. There was also a WARNING SIGN as you entered the theater to sit and watch it. If I remember correctly it read something like this, WARNING: Due to the extreme graphic violence and disturbing nature of this film, our theater will be handing out, "barf bags' upon request for all patrons purchasing a ticket for this movie. I got a barf bag just to have one and it was cool because it had a picture of the movie poster zombie on it.

  • I have one of those :D With the little zombie guy.Well, we had a bunch and just used to u ethem like we'd use sandwich bags

  • LOL!!!!!! Sandwich bags?????? I wonder what others thought as you were unwrapping your sandwiches and lunch. That's f---ing great!!!!!

  • I went to see this movie 1980 when it finally reached the USA and I have to say, that to me, this was the most terrifying scene in the movie. I mean, can you imagine stepping outside of your front door and seeing some rotten fucker like this walking down the street? Shit!!!!!!!!

  • @in2theabyss17 - Great music too. This is Fulci's best movie - bar none. I don't care what anyone says. Twice as smart, just as stylish, and every bit *more* entertaining than The Beyond. Way better gore too.
