They should make one that goes in the smaller style box, then I would get it cos it takes up way too much board space with the expression pedal and preset controller. Don't get me wrong though amazing pedal!

can i just buy a expression pedal and plug it through an effect loop of another pedal ? for example in a delay so i could control the amount of delay in my sound... thanks for reply

depends on what delay pedal you have... some have the option to plug in the exp pedal, others don't... and those that have the option for an expression pedal usually work with exp pedal of the same manufacturer.

it's usually a pedal like a wah or volume pedal that let you control a parameter of the effect, meaning one of the knobs on the effect so that you can change the sound while you're playing which can result in some pretty crazy sounds...

@evilvon Interestingly enough, the tone generators of a classic hammond organ are based on the same principles as guitar pickups. The difference is that a hammond doesn't use strings but cogwheels spinning at a constant rate to excite the PU, hence the name tonewheel organ. BTW I think its cool being able to play Jon Lords parts and still being able to pose like Steve Vai ;) , posing and stage acting are a lot harder to do with a hammond...
