I have kids that can't remember a letter at the end of the freakin' day after we have talked about it...colored it....practiced it and sang about it. That is ONE letter....and they are older by one or two years than this child. Don't knock it. He does VERY well.

Okay, I kind of agree. I'm really impressed by his memory, and his imitation is definitely adorable. I seriously enjoyed the first two minutes, but when he lost his place and got bored and/or frustrated, they cut away! How long was this mom trying to get him to settle down so he could continue?? If the original purpose of this recording was to entertain grandparents or something, they surely wouldn't need five minutes of it. I disapprove of that choice...
Although, that said, he probably had fun learning the words, I can't think that was the parents' choice. I'm an au pair for a boy about to turn three. Spanish is his first language, but he's learning Arabian Nights (in english) pretty well because he loves Aladdin and he requests the song from me all the time! :D So cute.

We have a video of my daughter (who is now 28) when she was 3 having this long pretend conversation on her toy phone with her pediatrician, Dr. Jackson. Anyone who has ever come into her life has seen the very funny Dr. Jackson video. I always thought that there could never be a cuter video than that, until I stumbled on this one. We have a video of my daughter (who is now 28) when she was 3 having this long pretend conversation on her toy phone with her pediatrician, Dr. Jackson. Anyone who has ever come into her life has seen the very funny Dr. Jackson video. I always thought that there could never be a cuter video than that, until I stumbled on this one. Aside from loving the song, this kid is the funniest, cutest thing I've seen! I was laughing so hard, I was crying...remember to show this at his wedding someday!

He's actually really good for a 3 year old. My 4 year old nephew would have trouble with this. He certainly wouldn't let me film him singing it!
Keep encouraging your son to sing. Encouragement is all he needs.

Hahahah awwwww he's so freakin cute :D...I teach kids his age and it definitely is amazing what a child can hear and keep in their minds. I told my neice when she was 2 that is was bad to litter because it hurts the earth, she is five now and everytime she sees someone litter she talks about how its bad. to do that. Kids are so smart :D
