Ok..somebody explain this to me.last night,i just beat this game on Superhard mode and when i saw the ending i was like....what the hell just happened???!!!??..did epsilon make it out on time,did he have to fight another boss and didnt have any weapons.or did he just die in space...Its one of the those things that i will never understand!!! What a dissapointed ending to an Awesome game that had sooo much potential.

It was only released for the Sega Megadrive in Europe, i believe. It came out late in the megadrive's life and not many copies sold. Making this game a rare game.

@VulpeRenard I picked two swords, one lancer, and one flame. These days I usually pick 1 sword, 2 lancers, and 1 flame instead. Lancer is the most useful on most bosses, but it runs out of ammo quickly.

yeah cool game for the gba.but to be honest it htink the genesis games that where made by treasure look less synthetic and actually better.same like sonic 3/knuckles looks better then any of the sonic advanced game.Gba games can look good but it's so choppy,maybe cause it is handheld or something but i prefer genesis it's graphics over gba.

It's a run n gun but to me it doesn't feel too much like Gunstar. This game is focused more on boss battles(even though Gunstar did have a lot) and the levels in between only take like 30 seconds.

The spiritual successor to Gunstar Heroes is actually Guardian Heroes, though they aren't in the same genre.

I took me a lot of time but I am finally able to beat it on SUPEREASY (the only part in which I sometimes die is when Z-Leo shoots the laser beams).

I still can't beat it on SUPERHARD - the Valkyrie Force always kills me :(

Treasure is well known for their boss fights. This game focuses on them. Each stage is only about twenty seconds, and then there's another thirty or so seconds for the boss fight. It's all about speed running.

Other epic Treasure bosses include Earth Mimicry from Sin and Punishment (best boss ever), Butsutekkai from Ikaruga, and Seven Force from both Alien Soldier and Gunstar Heroes.
