@SuperCrazyWogWizards you never, ever listen to pet store advice. they know nothing about bearded dragon care - they tell people to feed their dragons lettuce, they keep babies on sand, and ive seen workers advise that people buy calcium sand for their dragons which is just about the worst substrate out there.

the best diet for a dragon is a variety of fresh veggies and a good helping of crickets, with other occasional feeders as treats. not dog food.

@SuperCrazyWogWizards sand is bad for babies because during feeding they can accidentally ingest some - if babies ingest sand they can become impacted (constipated) and die. calcium sand is the worst. dragons shouldnt be kept on sand until at least a year old, and should never be kept on calcium sand. even after a year there is a small risk of impaction. paper towels, tile, and newspaper are the safest substrates.

@guxilla dragons arent suppose to eat cat food, and if they do, its supposed to be wet cat food, not kibble. usually its used for dragon who have trouble eating bugs and need protein. bearded dragons dont have the teeth to properly chew that stuff.

Cat food.. The berdies are so healthy this way! If they are not used to it, you might have to push the tiny crunchy bites around to make it look like living food. I give them living food as well about once a month - and some veggies twice a week. If you can teach the dragons to eat cat food, they will need some water too. The best way is to bathe them. They will drink if they are in it. What are the "corns" that you mention that can watch??

Colubrids probably. Corn snakes. Our rabbit, Argentine Tegu, Pit Bull, Ball Python, Iguana, Milksnakes, and Cats eat at the same time on the kitchen floor. The snakes only once a week though.
