Andrea Yates was diagnosed as being mentally ill and not only did her husband think it was okay for her to be home alone with the children she even home schooled them so she never had a break (which all parents need), her family also knew she was mentally ill, she should have been on meds, had intense counciling and had someone check in on her everyday to see her state of mind. She loved her kids but she was not in her right mind. Yes, her husband was just as culpable as she is.

It's terrible that innocent, young, defenseless children, and babies get killed by their parents mistakes. Even if the child does something wrong, it doesn't give the right for parents to take their lives away!

@Jeanelle092398 I think the Santa Claus at the Christmas Party did it. Jonbennet had said he told her "Santa is making another visit this year". Also the murderer was someone she trusted, a family friend? It was a adult male, I think between 30-40. He didn't mean to kill her when he came. He was fascinated by her. He wanted her. When she saw him, she was about to scream so her knocked her out. He was losing it now. He had her. He wanted her forever. He killed her.

@footeze226 Okay first off SPAM. Secondly, a lot of these children were killed by their own parents and were not abducted. However, even in those cases, the justice system let many of them down. Some were killed by their parents with no prior abuse either.

If the United States had a law that couples who have girls can only keep one that would really help lil girl go from missing. As I hit my wife yesterday in the face I told her "Anybody can have a girl the pattern is on the bed". That was in response to her telling me she wants a daughter.

Adam Walsh's murder is like soo famous and i don't blame his father for hosting america's most wanted. no one deserves to lose a child at such a young age, but then again. no parent ever deserves to lose a child, PERIOD! what happened to Adam was a really disturbing story. I can only imagine the hate, anger, sadness and confusion that John Walsh is feeling , i give him my sincerest sympathies.

It's just.... so wrong. Some of these kids were just a couple of months old. When I saw Summer, for some reason, It just ripped my heart apart. She looks just like I imagined that my daughter would look... it's hard to explain but I really can't stop asking why? How can people hurt these beautiful, innocent children?

Its sad, Most times, law enforcement looks at sex offenders as the potential murderers, I believe they even HOPE its an offender, so they can sensationalize better! if they can tie sex with these murders, you can get a better reaction! many times a child comes up dead, and theres no signs of sexual violation, and the story quickly fades! Hmmm,,!

This video is very powerful. It brings me to tears about the lives of the young who have been taken from this plane of existence. The tears quickly are replaced with anger for the ones who would dare to take their lives so coldly, and heartless. As I wish swift death upon those, I feel relieved that these angels are in a better place now, and they are not around those that had hurt them. They are in a much better place now, looking down upon us.

my teacher told me he work for helping kids who got abuse he said one day the little girl who he helped came to him she was all burise up and he asked what happen she said my mom hit me. he said when he was going on vacation of work the day he was leavin he said that he found out the 9 year old girl god murder by her own mom. he said he told the people she got abuse but they didnt do nothin about it. but he explain that why he wanted to become a teacher to help others

Andrea Yates was diagnosed as being mentally ill and not only did her husband think it was okay for her to be home alone with the children she even home schooled them so she never had a break (which all parents need), her family also knew she was mentally ill, she should have been on meds, had intense counciling and had someone check in on her everyday to see her state of mind. She loved her kids but she was not in her right mind. Yes, her husband was just as culpable as she is.

Movie stars/bands/etc. need to contribute some of their monies to the rewards in these cold cases of murdered children, alot of these cases have no rewards due to families not having alot of money. The deaths of these children is a heartbreaking thing. What is even worse is that several of the children you show were murdered by the very people that various states' Child Protective Services had investigated and selected to care for and protect those children. Often despite numerous warnings CPS ignore those warnings and these little kids paid the price with their lives. YOU can do something about it and you don't have to donate or march. Watch Innocence Destroyed. Let's stop this insanity.
