Messiah was a great vocalist in the on Nightfall, Ancient Dreams and Tales of..

However, as it is clear on the self titled 2005 album, he's lost all power in his voice, it's heavily produced with distortion to make it sound more powerful, but he just cannot do it anymore.

Therefore introducing Rob Lowe was a great move I think. He's a great singer..

This is the original Candlemass without Messiah, but with a new vocalist, if I'm right? I'm a Messiah loyalist, but I have to admit, this is a good song. 

The sound is very grim, and somewhat cold and distant, and highlights the doom it speaks of quite nicely.

It's hard to explain it past that, best to just listen to it and let themusic do the talking. Candlemass spreading doom once again, that's a good thing!

Anyone who likes the vocalist should check out Solitude Aeturnus and Solstice (from the U.K.) or Northwinds (from France).
