@Blaquecell What I don't understand, is why Urien stands in a cave wearing a tux. Where does he keep getting the tuxes that turn to ash every time he enrages, you would think living in a cave would make things like that difficult.
old vid, but this is by far my favorite game in existence. There's almost no such thing as no way to escape. Being able to parry and playing your cards right, even if you're a speck away from dying you can still make a comeback.
in street fighter 3 the corner excuse became obsolete because of the parries, in street fighter 4 the corner excuse came back...............nuff' said
I though you were saying about the second part, when he pop the second super art after juggle with rx still in the air, he had recovered already, but tried to parry and took 7 hits ... about your question sa 1 and 3 connects with dart shot ( > + RH dudley's overhead)
These matches are great. Rx and Fujiwara utilize their characters to their upmost limits of their potential to make one hell of a great fight. I'd love to see more, though I could probably watch 100 of their matches and not grow bored.
I found some interesting, that you can go for a mid screen unblockable setup vs dudley with urien without the need to charge partition, simply by doing a dash that requires great timing. Watch my video...
But they do have some interesting similarities. Focus attack looks like chariot tackle, and down+HP is the same. One thing, Seth is waaaaay easier. I lolled when I saw all those sf newbies complaining about Seth being difficult. I beat him on my second try my first time doing the hardest difficulty, and unlocked him my first day. Now Gill, he was hard!
Yeah, I've seen Gill's combos. He's one of only a few characters that can hit the juggle limit, and how! Seriously, that guy is like Urien with genei-jin that's always on, and roll inputs instead of charge.
No, Seth has Urien's kick on the ground, and Seth's focus attack looks a lot like a tackle Urien does. His crouching heavy punch also looks like a crouching punch Urien does.
/watch?v=GL54d60S-gc
Watch that video, you'll see the moves I'm talking about.
This was a great match. The two players are extremely skilled. Just by watching this match I know how long I'd last against either of them: 10 seconds.
Kokujin also OCV two teams at SBO4 and is known to be one of the best Dudley players in the world. On his retirement day, over 300 players all over Japan went to Gamer's Vision (including RX and Boss) to pay their respects. Kokujin and RX are even. You should watch his videos.
Actually, on the 116 kill streak, RX only fought foreigners, so he did not fight Kokujin. I just stated that moment because I found it funny that no one before Kokujin could even touch RX.
He's just a troll who stirs up arguments on 3s vids and pretends to know more than a minute amount about Honshu's, and the rest of Japan's competitive 3s scene in general. Don't mind him.
Every player makes mistakes. Especially when the opponent, Fujiwara, is one of the great pokers of the game. KO, J, Fujiwara and Boss are all examples of players who are so unpredictable and so good at the poke game that they force opponents into making more mistakes than usual.
making mistakes in this game is what gives the opportunity to your opponent to inflict damage to you. Basically if we base our logic on what you just said...Rx shouldn't make any mistakes. Now, if he didn't make any mistakes, it only means 1 thing, perfect in each round, which is impossible. That brings us to one conclusion, mistakes are part of the game, and what really makes the difference is how you play.
LOL! It's always the ones who never did any reseach and start telling people about something that they know absolutley nothing about. Anyway; Dudley was based on one of the greatest Manga of all time "Hajime no Ippo". So was Steeve Fox from Tekken(he immitates the dempsey roll and the corkscrew blow verry poorly though), and Venessa from KOF. Hell the designers of these said games even those games even said it themselves.
no no and no to all of you, he was inspired from the first gaijin fighter, Andy Hug, who won the first kyokoshin kai tournament back in 1986 i think or 88, he was supposed to win...anyways, they made dudley as a boxer, for the main reason that Andy hug needed to work on his punching skills in order to stand out in the k-1 taikai!
Who the piss said that? Even though the character yells out the names for the moves from Hajime NO Ippo; you still still say otherwise. It's like me saying that this website is the color white and you're sayng it's not (It's right in front of your face!). Lots of japanese game developers model their characters after old Manga. They also based Cammy's moves from the ones in Battle Angel Alita.
Solid. I've always wanted to see matches between Kokujin, Jima and Fujiwara. I always have a hard time determining who is the best out of those three.
