what an awesome race this year
-the fog over georgetown university. all you could see from the key bridge were the university spires.
-the amazing amount of spectator support
-wonderful and helpful Marines

It was a chilly morning to stand and video those first 10 minutes of the 2008 race, but thank you for being so resolute in capturing The 2008 "Peoples'Marathon"! For anyone who participated, they can watch this and say "I was there!"

I thought it was a beautiful day! Just think it could have been pouring down rain like it did on Saturday! Had I planned ahead I would have been able to capture the whole start, but I ran out of memory on my SD card. Sorry to you folks that I missed! Just an idea start playing this for your friends and tell them the mascot with the big head is blocking you, they'll never know!

I've sent the link to our six grown children so they can savor the day (they all run, some competitively. You're right! It was a beautiful day. Heck! It was a beautiful weekend. Thanks for the time capsule!!
