Wow that brings back memories growing up in Belleville. Growing up with my family, back then, anywhere you went almost forced you to take Rt 21 or McCarter Hwy. which ran along the river. Whether getting on Rt 3 or going to North Arlington or going to the Old 2 Guys store across the river. (long gone) That river for better or worse in implanted in my mind forever. Since I wish I could go back, then I guess it was a good thing. Great video...
Old Erie railroad bridge from Jersey City to binghamton and further west. Has not been used in like 50 years. The scene from the movie ANNIE where she climbs to escape was filmed on that bridge.
