you can get hl 2 deathmatch n lost coast free if you have ATI or nvidia and steam downloaded. Go to google n search ATI or nvidia steam offers n it should come up you cant get the hl 2 story mode that you would have to buy.

@Blackxicindian Well, Lost Coast itself was made for showcasing Source engine's rendering. The mission is irrelevant to the story itself, but it was made before HL2 EP1 and HL2 EP2, so it is right after the events of HL2. It couldn't have happened before HL2 because Gordon Freeman was in stasis until he arrived to City 17.
